Conduit had to use the battery to power her gear and got ill from the radiation, cooper couldn’t have done this unless he wanted to have a supercharged jump kit but even then it would require heavy modifications. He also probably didn’t want cancer.

Conduit is really well thought out like how the speed boost stops when you get in range for heals or how her ultimate always need about 1 or 2 mags to break so you know that an enemy who broke your ult is reloading
For Conduit's legend design, I would say it's a good point to mix up damage abilities with healing abilities to prevent the Lifeline incident from happening, pure healing characters aren't that appreciated in a way. The cohesion is something that needs to be considered but balanced, even the healers needed some fun like playing with Gibraltar.
You can easily make her kit more healing orientated. Rn she's both support and defense. Her ult is literally more defensive than all the defense Legends ultimates

I love playing as Conduit! :') Only weird thing about these "how to Conduit" videos is that no one remembers to say, you can only heal one teammate per tactical, not both. So, you need to be careful not to accidentally "heal" your teammate who is full health instead of the one who actually needs help badly. 😅 (oops, happened many times)
i think conduits ult should probably be replaced with a shield overcharge for herself and nearby teammates instead of the current trap thing so that her kit is more centred on support and overall it just makes more sense to me tbh
Yeah I stopped playing with her initially because I had it in my head that her ult would hurt the enemy but heal you or your squad and I'd get confused. Obviously that's on me, but I guess I thought her ult was an extension of her ability. Not something else. But! I've been figuring out how to play her and she's awesome. 😊

Great video but I don’t agree with the fact that Maggie’s kit isn’t cohesive. She is all about pushing and disrupting and it’s pretty clear in her passive (making you run faster when you have SHOTGUNS in hand), her drill which disrupts enemies in their cover (making them easier to push when out of position, are you using this ability when indoor?) and her ultimate is a big ball that speeds you into the enemy team while breaking all the doors and stunning the enemy for free kills. I feel like it very cohesive compared to like ballistics or something
Nah that intro was way too accurate, I have asked everyone in a five mile radius that speak my language to watch Loki. But none of them are caught up so it doesn’t make sense to them and it makes me so mad because it is soooo good
Shes pretty difficult to master. Timing is everything with her and you need really good game sense to make her kit as useful as possible. Her passive is very simple and I like it a lot because compared to other more recent passives, it’s much easier to take advantage of. Her tactical takes a while to recharge and also a bit to get those shields up, so you can’t just use it whenever you feel like. After resing is great and ideally if your teammate is at low health. But if one of your teammates is going to die 100%, it’s not the best to use it because that shield will be so easily broken during that time and you’ll be out of a tactical for your other teammate. Her ultimate is strong but pretty situational, cutting off choke points and enclosing small areas is definitely what it’s best at. Overall I think she has a lot of potential and I really like her so far! She’s like a wattson mixed with Bangalore, I’m excited to see what people do with her!
that’s me a new player in season 19 now almost 20, been having lots of fun recently with friends and decided to switch from bloodhound (i was using him because my game sense is bad and having wallhacks is pretty nice) to conduit because of the support abilities, so far i really like that i can catch up to my friends who are faster with their movement techs and stuff and the shield healing is really nice and self explanatory, it’s a really good starter character in my opinion because u just tactical and then don’t worry
One tip that I feel like is very important but is very obvious… if you’re playing conduit, don’t not use your tact on teammates that have full shield already… You only get one charge, and it takes a while for it to comeback… if you’re having trouble figuring out who needs the tact, you can also see your teammates shield through walls… I think she’s a great legend and truly a combat medic but with everyone wasting her tact it feel like I have a lifeline on my team that drops her drone for no reason. I’m not saying she needs a nerf but if there is I would say make the recharge of the temp shield take more damage until it’s full, once it’s full it’ll act as a normal temp shield
i also have another idea: give her the ability to place each battery on theit own and giver her ult multiple charges, like vantages sniper but one charge is one battery

Her Ultimate is a little disjointed, but it can be used for delaying or preventing pushes so you can hang back and charge up your shields using her Tactical. It’s notable that both Conduit and her allies can move through the Jammers unimpeded, unlike Fuse’s Ult, which will hurt him if he tried to move through it, so I think it is meant to buy time to shield before pushing. Overall, the kit is good. It will really come in handy once people get more comfortable with a Conduit on their team and realize that the extra shields last longer than you think. She’ll may not be a Legend for people who like to frag, but if you have a teammate who likes to push hard and frag, then Conduit is a really strong choice to keep them shielded up when they are in the middle of a fight. She’ll also be pretty solid in long-range poke fights in Ranked since she’ll be able to snipe an enemy, forcing them to use batteries and cells to heal while she can use temp shields to eat more of their ammo and meds and try for picks. Eventually she’ll need to use a battery, but she works really well in both a pubs “push every fight” style game and in a more disciplined, slow moving ranked game. The weakest part of her kit is the Ultimate: it’s great in tight spaces to buy you time to heal or revive, but the deployment time is so slow it won’t be useful really anywhere else.

6:20 conduit says "deploying shield jammers" but they don't do anything special to evo shields. its a mix of caustic gas and ash snare in the shape of a catalyst ult. i think something cool would be a decay effect or a debuff of evos in trapped in the ult long enough. 10 damage isn't a whole lot, but the slow effect is really annoy and good area denial. if they are called "shield jammers" they should do more then be a slight annoyance to evos, there should be a real impact on them. maybe having the overall amount of damage evos take be reduced the longer an enemy remains in the ult or evos will disable for a very short time in linear intervals when trapped in the ult, almost as if they were glitching or ya know, being jammed in some form. overall they serve a very niche and somewhat disjointed effect for conduit, but are broken in mixtape, especially control.
I think conduct kit is really cool , something I’ve been wishing for tho is another type of from ski ability (lifeline, bang, gibby and valk) it’s a small thing but there is a bit of immersion for running threw ur teammates bang ult or firing missiles from valk or just watching the care package come down , it’s a small detail but more abilities like that would be cool

As a new Conduit main, I have to admit, I HATE playing against stun/slow legends, and I think that a nerf to either her ult damage frequency or damage intensity itself is called for. A quality of life "buff" to her Q would be nice, so many times was I trying to heal the teammate that has really low shields and accidently healed my other teammate that barely had a scratch in the armor, idk how exactly this should get changed, but I suggest that the little "breached armor" icon shouldn't be orange and show low hp when the guy is missing like 5 hp from his shields, maybe a yellow icon would be better for everything that is les than a cell's worth of damage; because I don't want to look bottom left mid-fight to make sure that, yes, that's the teammate that needs the heals and not the other one.
honestly subscribing for the sole reason that we are both latinos that are with a Philippine lady. My gf picked this game up only for conduit ( and we had a dnd campaign years ago that she named Conduit when she made it, crazy )
for conduit's kit it is one of those things where it feels like, with ash theyre trying to make refrences to the Titanfall things which they come from, Conduit passive is like the monarch kit that gives them 2 dashes for more speed, her tactical is basically alsmost exactly like monarchs similar abiulkity to give other titans shields back, and possibly a stretch but her ultimate could be refrence to the XO-16 chaingun Monarch has which one of the upogrades is to specifically drain shields/vortex faster
I've been playing as conduit for the past 2 weeks... she's already my fave/ main and extream win streak maker lol, all the tips here are perfect, Leep frog idea is a great one, her kit tho; this is how it makes sense: her speed is to match a titan, her shelds, again, titan, her ult... again... her entire kit shouts titan, conduit is the closest thing to an actual titan in apex (this is from watching my titanfall crazy Lil bro lol, I think I've picked up a thing or 2), I think tho a good idea along with the leap frog ability being available when ur team mates are down is maybe an ability that allows the shild devices on her back fire lasers like in her trailer, would be sweet when fighting solo
I think conduit is pretty meh playing solo but, if you have a coordinated team its a really good legend, wich makes me think its gonna be a must in comp
The leap frog would be cool, but I think an interesting alternative could be when all a teammates are out, either your a solo or you have their banners, you passive activated on respawn beacons so when you don't have a team, its not nothing

for conduit's kit it is one of those things where it feels like, with ash theyre trying to make refrences to the Titanfall things which they come from, Conduit passive is like the monarch kit that gives them 2 dashes for more speed, her tactical is basically alsmost exactly like monarchs similar abiulkity to give other titans shields back, and possibly a stretch but her ultimate could be refrence to the XO-16 chaingun Monarch has which one of the upogrades is to specifically drain shields/vortex faster

I've been playing as conduit for the past 2 weeks... she's already my fave/ main and extream win streak maker lol, all the tips here are perfect, Leep frog idea is a great one, her kit tho; this is how it makes sense: her speed is to match a titan, her shelds, again, titan, her ult... again... her entire kit shouts titan, conduit is the closest thing to an actual titan in apex (this is from watching my titanfall crazy Lil bro lol, I think I've picked up a thing or 2), I think tho a good idea along with the leap frog ability being available when ur team mates are down is maybe an ability that allows the shild devices on her back fire lasers like in her trailer, would be sweet when fighting solo

I think conduit is pretty meh playing solo but, if you have a coordinated team its a really good legend, wich makes me think its gonna be a must in comp

Just realized that the shield lazer thingy is like that one monarch core upgrade, kind of interesting that a monarch battery is what lets her do this
They should make her passive be like octanes passive except for shields

The leap frog would be cool, but I think an interesting alternative could be when all a teammates are out, either your a solo or you have their banners, you passive activated on respawn beacons so when you don't have a team, its not nothing

I think her passive,tactical and ultimate are inspired by the legends. Her passive is a mimic of Bangalores passive and her tactical is like lifeline and her ult is like wattson
