I remember playing against this back in the day and I was just like: "WTF?" I never expected it to beat me.
22:54 was the turning point of the game and it was so cool to watch. The dude weakened you and drove you out on both fronts, and for a moment he thought he was safe. You heal your Warden and Avatar simultaneously, swoop back in from both sides, and take out the Shadow Hunter who was hexing you the whole game. That Shadow Hunter was the only thing holding you back. Once he was dead and you were suddenly at full health, the guy knew it was over.
@MrTheoneandonly perhaps new to this kind of strat. 😂. Trying to destroy Moonwell without raiders and demolishers. Xd.

RoC dota was like AoS. Allstars was a ganky new map style. RoC forced a team effort to win no matter what. Allstars introduced the ability for one person to carry/win. I like the forced team version. And ud vs ne with specific heroes to each side. You could also team share gold.

How many moonwells do you need?
Grubby: yes.
I used to do this strat in 4v4s. A lot of the time it wouldn't work, but sometimes you would get some of the most epic and hilarious games where you get a level 10 unkillable Warden running around soloing multiple armies.
With Orb Of corruption too ? 😂
I play warden only, 20 years already, let me tell you what could be done better:
1. you must use mana potion every time you do hit and run
2. you must use antimagic potion every time you do hit and run
3. you must use as many invulnerability potions as you can
4. you need blink only leveled 1 time, it is just to escape, your main attack is done by fan
warden can eliminate 5-6 trolls on a single fight
also you can kill shaman in two wards
Yeah, and also in general not building unit is like a deliberate handicap challenge. If you build a few huntresses and do hit and run with the warden on separate locations, it can really mess with your opponent's head. You can blink harass peons once, then send a few huntresses in to harass next time, and send warden to creep jack. The old school solo warden build was actually grossly OP until they had to nerf warden to the ground after many patches. With how most maps nowadays have tavern, warden is actually quite viable still.
I sometimes crack up at the fact that there are people who been playing dk fiends for 20 years now every game :D

Mono hero builds are the best builds! Now I'm really curious about a triple hero no units build (maybe RPG-esque, with a tank a healer and a DPS). I wonder what could the best race and hero choice be...
Archmage, Mountain King, Paladin or Farseer, Shadow Hunter, Tauren Chieftain.
@@H4veS0meH3art Dk or CL, Lich and DL can too. For Merc heroes I think Tinker, Alchemist and Either PL or Beastmaster.

Undead needs statues to tri-hero because they don’t have a good way to get mana. Orc has a similar idea problem, but can sort of do it because of blade. Human can definitely do it with almost any combination involving AM because of brilliance. NE is obviously the best at it because mass moon wells is health and mana.

yes, bring back the requests! for me, you are still #1 in wc3 when it comes to weird strategies and i always enjoyed watching you actually pull them off.

playing against it would be pretty easy tbh
a solo hero has power over long drawn out fights, but cant kill armys very quickly, you can easily just pressure them and win
especially as ork, when you see this happening just crank out a bunch of raiders and push his base in, he cant defend it and with their siege damage they will smash down his base pretty quickly
Frankly, on more casual MMR it must be pretty solid. People gonna struggle with controls, both you and opponent so as long as comp is somewhat viable and it's easier to control is usually the win.
Though it kinda depends on the matchup, Undead can burst heroes easily, Human in tier 3 will just build 3 tanks and you won't be able to stop them though that's tier 3 and enemy definitely gonna be tilted by strat like that so chances he won't play optimal are massively increased xd

Wow this is actually crazy, I used to do this with a friend of mine waaaaay back in the day. We used Protectors too, though!
It happened to me 1 year ago.
It meant to be a nooby-casual 3v3 but apparently the other team were high ranks smurfing and memering. I got really salty with this.
They build the team with synergy. Warden, DK and Lich with infinite life and mana, 1-shooting units and soloing our entire army. 😪

What I really wanna see some time is just a walking forest of ancients of war. They have no supply cost so you could mass them to stupid amounts.
What if he went full shockwave TC and spammed it on the base? Research spikes on buildings!
Harass with some bats behind the base maybe, idk. Anything would be better than a classic strategy, you have to fight crazy with more crazy I think :D
I was thinking BRs, too. Warden can't be everywhere at the same time and bats can just fly off into the woods when she shows up.
We all struggle with the full army and then this guy beat a human using only Warden and Wisps.
When you said Pimp my peon at the end, I was blown away, because we used to do Pimp my Mortred back in old school Dota where we were a couple of friends who picked buff heroes like Ogre, Magnus and Omniknight and let our PA (sometimes the random on our team) get free regen and bottle etc. and proceed to wreck the enemy team at level 6 😂
And that's how Dota was born.
I think you should start making the line of moonwells all the way to the enemy base. When you are already somewhere close to him, you know its check mate XD

Woah such nostalgic feeling, i dont is it the same or not but i remember i used to play on my old laptop when in highschool my friend gave me this game that u can play without internet access coz I don't have it lol it dota 2 i think and my friend played for online match only while i play the story campaign in it. I remember the warden pursuing illidan then become twisted as she chasing around to arrest him, the blood elf who search for new home and salvation end up serving illidan. Human and orc conflict that drove orc fleeing from human continent and human empire fell to the undead scourge, aahh the prince Arthas? I think he's name is going on journey to ice continent and got the skull sword it has name i forgot. The all of different race that we r playing end in 1 big battle in the end at ice tower prison to release the lich king i think lol i remember most of this coz i played hundreds of time. And also the campaign have 2 story 1 for the lich king and the other one is the orc ans human join force to stop the burning legion in kalimdor. Im surprised i still remember the name of these characters coz i really play A LOT. The story animation is what kept me played it coz ot soo cool. The most scene that impact on my mind is when the demon that the lich kel thuzad summons destroy the city of mage with a hand and the burning of the world tree. Damn miss that game. Sorry for my poor English and butchering the name hahahaha hope u guys dont mind it.

Orc didn't seem to know what to do to adapt. Raiders with Ensnare and the ability to destroy buildings FAST (also Pillage), and (if needed) Bats with Liquid Fire to destroy buildings and semi-shut-down Ancient Protectors.
Just mass raiders with Few demolishers = EZ WIN for orc. Pillage research needed too. Heroes choices are pretty good there. Hex and Stomp for CC.
Research Spikes for base defending so Warden can't do anything.

Opponent wasn't exactly stupid but I think they might have been unaware of some mechanics like the tavern respawn. I think a more aware player would have realized you had no choice there but to use tavern, and would have ambushed your wisp to contain the threat. But hey backseating is easy and hindsight 20/20.
But HH are so useless against Lvl 5 Warden.

I used to straight tech to chims in 1v1 with just a warden or DH. Most of the time I was able to sneak 10-12 chims in, nuke their main before they could TP to it and then destroy the rest of their high tier buildings and TP out by the time could react. Sometimes won without even killing a single one of their units, just using chims as siege weaponry until they had no buildings left. Have you ever won by killing every building without killing any units?

Moonwell is the only reason this works, plus warden ult being very good on its own
Only NE race is the strongest race in Solo hero strat due to able to mass produce moonwells and fast expand bases with Ancient of Protectors.

I'm pretty sure these "my hero vs his army" games are all arranged. His opponents just keep feeding small amounts of tier1 units. Unrealistic.

Man, one time i was matched against Happy on his troll account and he played warden + Ancients only.....he won against my UD because he got a hero double kill on a creep camp with invis potion xD
Oh man, i remember so many crazy builds for 2v2. I was relatively high back in the days (i once lost a decider match to join league 1 of ESL)
One of my favorite strats was UD/NE: Nightelf no units hero only, feeding resources. Undead no hero, no units, 3 center akolite rush with 50 accolites. EVERY time, enemys lough at start when akkos start rushing their base. But soon after they lose first base, they cry Hahaha

Sometimes it seems to me that some players are so addicted to RPG and the tactical component of Warcraft that they forget that this is still a strategy in which you can create a bunch of units and destroy enemy base.
