- We got a call 48 hours before the start of the RedBull Megaloop challenge. Everyone flew from all over the world and I had to change my schedule to compete. It was the windiest contest I've ever competed in. The wind was between 35 and 50 knots ideal conditions for a contest like this. Unfortunately the contest didn't goes as planed...

You're a legend pushing the envelope. You all are. I grew up watching Robbie Naish and learnt windsurfing because of him and his competitors. You will inspire so many more to the sport. Total respect to you, your support group and your competitors. The wind is free, let it take you where you want to go! And I can see so much joy on your face it makes me jealous. 🤣🤣🤣😂😅😁
You have to hand it to Liam though: busted kite right out of the gate, then someone gave him an under inflated one which doesn’t work and finally he swaps to a totally different brand he didn’t train on AND THEN WINS! also had time to down a Red Bull
Edit: so much of it comes down to luck of the gusts and kickers though, keep it up Keven. The wins are one thing but in terms of impact to the sport these videos are way more important.

Oh boi... respect to you and all the other riders! That's completely balls to the wall... I would never consider going out in these conditions, even not with a tissue as kite. And if I would ever get in such conditions by weather change, both safeties would have been pulled before you could finish the word "shit". You have my greatest respect for just competing!

Awesome reflection video. One thing I recommend my students when competing, is to not think of anything, ANYTHING else on the day - on the moment even. Like you have a beautiful child, a wife, house, lifestyle.... all that freezes - stops even on the day. You have to think like you're the only one there. You're the Survivor... the last, the final...

What epic day, was one the beach there.
You guys get crazy conditions on the Dutch coast there. Rode noordwijk on a 7m in super windy conditions. You guys got big balls riding 9m kites in these conditions
