- Laura gives a clue to the contestant couple at the end of her performance. Last year of Rudi Carrell's show, "Die Verflixte Sieben". Aired October 10, 1987. German game show ran from 1984 - 1987. It was a game show, which intended to build on the success of the current band. Each candidate received and exchanged seven symbolic objects, during the broadcast. Laura brought hers, a seated figure. I hope it helped the candidate who deserved to win!
This clip has been on UA-cam for a while but I'd never seen it with the intro or the ending. Clearly, Laura does not speak German! lol

TOUCH had so many potential hits including this memorable song. Laura is forever in my heart. I got to see her in concert at Westbury NY in 1988 when she was promoting the album. I was in the front and she grabbed my hand for 5 seconds as she sang and smiled.❤️ I miss her to this day.
Laura was the best..reminds me of the good old days. Was heartbroken when I learned she has passed on. Rest in peace Laura.

The chorus of this song was really similar to Heaven is a place on earth of Belinda Carlisle, that reached the top of the charts in the same year! But nothing was plagiarism! Both of the songs belonged to the same writers: Rick Nowels and Ellen Shipley! I don’t understand why only for Laura promotion was so weak, without a videoclip. The song had potentialities of success and Laura was still so beautiful in her 35’s! But I’m sure the reason was just her age! Damned american ageism!
