The trek to Tadiandamol Peak is a DIY trek. The trails are relatively straight-forward and during our time we didn't feel the need for a guide. Also a couple groups coming down while we were going up didn't hire a guide either. Having said that, you can go on google maps and call up the properties near by the trail, checking if there is a way to hire a guide for the trek. We unfortunately do not have any official contacts. Hope this helps.
Given that they are hill station almost throughout the year is alright. But more so in Winters. The temperature is just perfect. Right now even the waterbodies will be filled with water.

Hey, really down to what your preference is. We have guides on both. You can choose which places capture your interests better. However, Chikmagalur and Sakleshpur can be done together as well should you have time. 😀

To the top of the Tadiandamol peak, no. Generally, it is convenient to park at the Nalknad Palace and trek rest of the way through, like we did. However, you can check with the locals if you can take your vehicle till the checkpoint (until where we took the lift). Hope this helps! 😀

Is any booking required for tadiandamol before arriving?
You can do the trek without prior bookings. However, do check with local stays if it is opened or not, as it is closed during monsoons.

Half day trek.
Reaching there from Madikeri takes 1-2 hours.
Better, if you could hav place the time stamp. Like started at 8am, reached 1pm, etc etc
