If they ever made a Half-Life film, Animals as Leaders to produce the soundtrack would be peak scintillation.

It's not a new track. It's a new video. Fantastic track. The whole album is amazing. Best album of 2022 with Meshuggahs.

@@APieceOfLiquid Fa sho I guess it's subjective. This is my favorite track on that album, maybe in their entire discography.

Tosin Abasi and his crew are always amazingly tight. I discovered these guys a few years ago and they are pure audio pleasure. They transcend metal and jazz/rock fusion. I catalog them in the same instrumental category as Polyphia, another band that plays at this level.

Not berried alive, so I guessed wrong. but even more pioneering guitar work and musical ideas… Tosin, Javier, and Matt are just insane!!

Loved this reaction too, you're completely right though, its music made to appeal to music nerds, but somehow so emotionally driven too. Not many bands can do that.

I actually learned about this band from your channel, so thank you. I learned about a lot of bands from your channel, but this is my favorite. I may see them in Germany later this year.

I recommend just watching ANY of Matt's drum playthroughs, and you'll actually see how intricate and FREAKY this guy is... I recommend the Gordon Naught playthrough... ao bloody good

I'm at my lowest and most nihilistic when I think it's all been done and it's already been made and explored. I'm at my highest and most optimistic when I discover new art and media that proves how wrong I am in that nihilism.

Listening to AAL is like trying to live in human society.
Constantly trying and struggling to find the common denominator.

Matt their drummer has a play through of “Gordian Naught”, the closer from their latest album, and I can’t recommend you check it out enough. Its absolutely ridiculous

Try react thought and prayer by them, i think that song one of most emotional song yet delicated, spacey, creep, dark, sad, anger at the same time, i think this is one of the best song in this new album imo, i always love your insight about this band btw,i love how you elaborated your thought about this song and its hit me everyword u said, good job

I think one of the most surprising aspects of AMAL is their range. When someone asks what song they should listen to in order to get a feel for their style/sound, it's really difficult because one or two songs doesn't really encapsulate them. There's definitely a common thread of progressive styling, but you can suggest something heaver like Monomyth or Tooth and Claw, or something completely different like Brain Dance or Air Chrysalis and get a completely different perspective.

Very cool , never heard of this Band before and as usual i learned something. Don´t slaughter me over this , but it gives me a Dream Theater Vibe ( don´t like them very much because i hate the Singers Voice ) . BUT i love Tool since 1996 and this Video gives me their Vibes as well as the Guitar Part ( 7empest ...15.44 Minutes Adam Jones Guitar Crazieness ) . No Offense please , i don´t want by any means question their uniqueness. Thanks Chase something new to explore !😍Have a damm good Day !!!
