    StarLink now has the USB-C wire for sale. It’s 5m (16’.5”) long and costs $31.00 USD. It has a red power indicator light in it to show if the required 100W 5A 20V power supply is good. For the Mini Only.

    Awesome. I was looking for such a video. Did you use a 15-meter (49.2-foot) power cable for this test? It doesn't affect internet speed? I saw some complaints that power drops are possible because of the long length of the power cable.

      @@Mykhailo_Zarai it was the cable that came with the mini, so 15 meters I believe 👍🏻

      You can add a 20 volt converter to lower the amperage for long travel. I got it on Amazon. Cheers!

      @@standingmannequin7911 Yes. I bought a type-c - DC cable with a 20V Pd trigger and dc-dc barrel connector. That worked.

    could you bypass the long starlink cord and just use the usbc to barrel cord? i plan backpacking with the starlink mini and dont really need the 50 ft cord lol

      @@aaronkotalik7187 You certainly could, the starlink cord just has a water tight connector which makes sense for me. 👍🏻

    Can you plug the DC5521 straight into the DC5521 port in the back of the Delta 2 to power the Mini ?

    • @LanceMace
      @LanceMace  2 місяці тому

      @@jmaxch nope, I tried that and it it doesn't provide enough watts, it never started up... I even tried an adapter that took 2 DC5521 ports to one and that didn't work but I think it was rated to merge power together so maybe that's possible.

    Works good until someone bumps into the C connector and breaks it. Very flimsy
