I think he did it sorry . The first thing I noticed he never said “ i didn’t do it “ . Also “ I’m not guilty of these allegations “ saying “ I didn’t do it “ would be much stronger denial . Legally no one is guilty until they are proven guilty.

He didn't say 'I didn't do it' because hes making an official statement. He is going to talk in formal terms. He's not talking to his mates down the pub. Also any lawyer will tell you to say as little as possible. Innocent or guilty. They probably advised him to make no statement at all.
