You’d really just be getting a compilation of scenes where Hunter is fighting, teleporting, flying, or just holding his staff which imo isn’t exactly Flapjack content. If you want me to make that video I’d probably be willing to (After the Owlbert and Mike Socks videos) but that’s why I don’t usually include on-staff stuff. I will also acknowledge that not all of the scenes in this video have proper Flapjack personality, like when he’s just sitting on someone’s shoulder not doing anything, so it may be slightly hypocritical of me to not include on-staff scenes because there “isn’t much personality to on-staff Flapjack” 😅

actually i noticed that flapjack goes onto someone’s shoulder (or at least he used to) when someone makes a good decision. for example, he goes on eda’s shoulder when she decides to use the titan blood, he goes on hunter’s shoulder when he tells gus the truth, and like you said, he goes on amity’s shoulder when she’s offering hunter help. throughout the time flapjack was hunter’s palisman we also see him not go on his shoulder when he could’ve when hunter isn’t making a very good decision. idk if this was intentional but it’s very interesting
I’ve even came up with a fan-comic idea based on Flap’s legacy Getting Tattoos🥹 Eighteen year old Hunter has just gotten his tattoo of Flapjack over his coven sigil and showed it to Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus. They all agreed it was a wonderful tribute to Flapjack and it gave Luz the idea for all of them to get the same tattoo once they’re old enough. Amity respond saying “Great idea batata”, while Hunter said “Guys you don’t need to do that”. Gus argued with “Of course we do, Flapjack wasn’t just your palismen he was as much a member of our squad as you are”, Willow back him up with “And don’t forget he sacrificed his own life to save yours, so this is the least we can do for him”. Hunter looked at his tattoo and grinned agreeing with “Well if that’s what you guys want”. Two years later the Hexsquad all got Flapjack tattoos while Hunter looked at his own again with a smile saying “Thank you Flap” as Flapjack’s spirit lands on his shoulder.

Flapjack probably saw it first and went “dude wtaf” I also really like that Flapjack doesn’t warm up to Hunter immediately- the mere fact that he recognized a face like Caleb’s isn’t enough. He really only shows interest in Hunter once he starts gushing about wild magic and begins to demonstrate that he’s not a bad person. Flapjack may have seen the other Golden Guards over the years and realized they weren’t like his Caleb enough to bond with them.
Honestly if Palismen bond through like-minded partners and emotion, and Flapjack was crafty and rascally but also super affectionate, this implies a lot about Caleb’s personality. I like to think that HE was where the “BYEEEEEEEEEEE” came from.

They’re adorable sidekicks, but don’t like, drag the whole thing down or take the spotlight from important character moments, instead they add a lil to each moment Orrr reflect their owner’s character like how Flapjack helps Hunter, or how we saw Owlbert bat Lilith in the middle of that serious fight

Then again, Eda would probably be the only witch around who could help anyone, minus maybe the tweens and fellow wild witches who never got around to picking a coven. Kinda hoping episode two will be about Eda collecting the injured and trying to help them, while building an army of wild witches to try and avoid whatever “Owl House” is to the Collector. I think that would bring a shallow pool of hope to the people of the boiling isles, and quickly put wild witches in a heroic position. I’ve had that theory since Yesterday’s Lie. There is a lot of evidence too, like the stuff that you + SScheshire Cat said. But also stuff like the fact that only Belos knew about flapjacks/pancakes (Palismen Observations) and that one of the brothers mentioned by Jacob had a cardinal on his shoulder (Yesterday’s Lie). I definitely think that Hunter and Flapjack could have an emotional “so you just chose me because I’m his clone” moment because I’d like to think that isn’t true and it could tackle some of Hunter’s insecurities.
