I just realized… even though it’s so so hard that the twins are in the hospital right now, I remember Colleen being sad when she was getting so pregnant that she couldn’t really cuddle Flynn to sleep on her chest and thinking she wouldn’t get to anymore because her hands would be so full after having twins too. But now she gets the time to comfortably cuddle Flynn to sleep and spend that time with him and I know that was so special to her. So even though it’s unfortunate circumstances, I hope that’s one thing that makes it easier!💜 💜 so much love and support to you Colleen! You’re a STELLAR woman!!

I really love the way Jessica’s children are so inclusive of all the kids, they’re not jealous or fighting, they’re all just happy to be there and with their family. Same as Flynn. Very sweet to see.

Tortilla talk question: what does Flynn call every one? Like he calls Kory "koko". What does he usually call you, Erik, his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles?
I know he calls her mama and sometimes mommy. He calls Erik dada or daddy. And his grandparents he says grandma and grandpa. Not sure though on his aunt and uncles. And I believe he calls his cousins just their names.
Wesley and Maisy are so strong and cute, im so proud of all of your family.

The memories the cousins are making together are priceless. The twins will be in the mix before you know it! Just wanted to say I love how you all let the kids be kids and they aren’t expected to be quiet or calm all the time. Christopher and Erik are both the sweetest playful dads. I wish all kids could have that.
Im so proud of how far the babies and Erik and colleen have come since they’ve been born but I think it’s also really cool how we’ve gotten to know Erik more recently. With the podcast and the most recent episode where they talk about the babies birth from erik’s point of view and seeing him more in the vlogs. He’s such an amazing husband, father, and so much more its really awesome how we’ve gotten to see more of him.
I love how when Eric learned how to baste the turkey he sounded exactly like Flynn when he gets excited

I know I'm late and you probably won't see this but I just wanna say it makes me so happy to see you all watch Parker do his shows and stuff because when I was little and wanted to do stuff like that I would've been made fun of, I was made fun of, and yes by family. I know you all do stuff like that and it'd so awesome to see how confident and happy he is and the rest of the kiddos are while doing stuff like that! I hope to have a loving family like your one day 💕

Wesley's face has changed so much!! He's always been adorable of course but you can tell he's really gaining weight and getting so big. I think it would be really cool to see a side by side photo of you as a infant, Eric as a infant, Flynn as a infant and the twins🙂

@@Alice-xt8oi she has decided to not be as quarantined and covid safe as everyone else is (she still wears a mask and is fully vaccinated). Rachel doesn’t want to risk gettting others sick because of all the kids. So she doesn’t see colleen or the others that much

Those forehead wrinkles are so adorable. My son had those (him and his sister were a month early). I’m so appreciative of these moments with your twins, Colleen.

Hey Colleen. I had to say goodbye to my dog of 11 years today, and I wasn’t able to do much of anything but think about him and cry. When I needed a distraction, the first thing I thought to do was search your name and watch. Thank you for being our escape. I’m looking fondly on my memories with my sweet boy and I am so thankful for his life, but also for everything you do for me and many others. Thank you, and happy holidays to you and your family!

I really appreciate the support system that has surrounded Colleen. It is definitely tough having your children be in the hospital and although it isn't as hard it must be difficult watching someone you love carry all that hurt and know there isn't much you can do about it. I think her family and Kory are absolute beasts and deserve the best of what's coming to them XXX

I’m glad Colleen is getting to spend this time with Flynn because she said during her pregnancy one of her fears was “not being able to cuddle with Flynn and taking attention away from him to be with the babies” so now she gets to spend that time with Flynn the way she could before she was pregnant
who else wishes they were part of Colleen’s family? the absolute chaos every time they are together is amazing
I feel like Erik gets more and more into the kids performances with each passing year :P

My preemie baby was born right before Christmas last year so that was technically her first christmas, but I say that being in the NICU doesn't count, so we're celebrating her first Christmas this year (at home) and I am so excited! Next year, the twins will have their first Thanksgiving (at home)! 🥰 Much love 💛

I had both my girls premature at 32 weeks and 29 weeks. Even though they had to spend weeks in the NUCU I knew without that medical intervention I would not have children. Colleen is blessed to have had the medical intervention that saved both the twins lives and that they are growing now and are healthy. We all should value the life of the unborn and realize they are humans in the womb.

Tortilla talk question: is it possible that one twin can be released from the NICU before the other, and if so what would you do? i imagine that that would be really difficult, but would you feel more happy that you had at least one baby home, or would you be more sad that the other is still in hospital. love you colleen!
My twin nephews were born 3 months early and were in the NICU. One of them came home a few weeks before the other so it's very possible that one twin come home before the other. 2 babies growing and hitting "milestones" at different rates.

Colleen was like: the world is starting to get a little bit safer or more normal (don’t remember exactly) while eating the thanksgiving feast. And I’m over here in Germany thinking: ha! Good one. Just chaos and no one cares
I think as humans the limit to our stamina has been reached. The news in the US keeps blasting info about numbers and variants and other fear mongering but it's true that people are lowering their own restrictions and living life. I'm vaccinated, wear my cute masks, wash my hands often, use my judgement on safe situations and have let off on a ton of rules and I've stayed safe from covid even going out to the county carnival and meeting up with groups of people. I've seen of course people who don't take precautions, and have even remarked about my mask wearing but thats their decision and I try to move away from those types. But as someone who used to be super strict about covid safety/lockdown and had a mental breakdown due to it, I think its best for people to carry on their lives as safetly as they're comfortable with rather than trying to maintain two years of strict quarantine impositions.

I don't think it's that nobody cares. It's just easy to pay attention to what's going on around you locally and get comfortable with that. The restrictions in California are not as strict because the numbers are down. They have been down since around mid August. I didn't even know that Germany was struggling because I haven't heard about it on the news or anything. I hope things turn a corner and improve for your country and people around the world.
@@beckstyles3467 We didn't have enough thats for sure 😭😭 but they had businesses closed and reduced hours, and had mask mandates etc. I lost my job in parks & recreation cuz they were closed down involuntarily for 8 months so it isn't fair to say they had NO restrictions.. just very little. (Also some states have mandates that you need to show your vax card to enter buildings so that's something too!)
So happy to see that you all had a great Thanksgiving day celebration. Baby babies enjoyed their bottles and snuggle time with mom and dad family time and your families house and I just love watching you guys. I’m so glad you don’t have shy children, not even one! The kids were absolutely spectacular! Poor Gus, couldn’t get out of the way no matter how hard he tried. I’m very thankful that God is answering all of my prayers for you and your family. Every time I watch colleen and her family I just smile and laugh its just such a positive time watching them and I'm so excited for the future with the twins cant wait to see Flynn and the twins next to each other having sibling bonding time!
I love your house, it looks so warm and filled with love. Have you ever done a walkthrough? The twins are looking so good, little cuties. Colleen, I know you feel. You’ve been emotional but all I see is someone being ‘real’. Anyone would feel the same with two little ones in the hospital. You’ve not been able to do the ‘normal’ things parents get to do with bringing their babies home. I think you’re incredibly strong and brave. You have selflessly managed two pregnancies that have been extraordinarily hard on you and you’ve brought three gorgeous little ones into the world - that makes you awesome!

Love you guys and praying for strength for you both. My mom is currently in a rehabilitation/hospital right now and it was the first year My kids and I weren’t able to be with her. We missed her, but we did take her food that my daughter and I made. I attempted to make her honey glazed ham for the first time. I was scared that I was going to mess up, but made it happen. Lol she liked it and that’s awesome. Can’t wait for your babies to come home and for you and Eric to be at ease. Sorry for the life story. Lol hugs and please keep sharing.
