1 year ago I saw this interview and made the decision to sell my gym, my businesses along with my car and possessions to leave Aus for Peru to sit with Don Howard Lawler for 8 days of intense, Excrutiatingly painful Aya ceremonies and all I can say is, life has never been the same.
I now live my dream life in Utah preparing for many adventures ahead. Life isn't happening to me anymore. It's happening FOR me.
Tim, Aubrey, I want to thank you men.
This doesn't sound like a good decision, hope you didn't end up homeless.
Ukbunemal Yokanlush happiness does not equal material, i think as long as hes happy all is good
Inspirational words ❤️
@@UkbunemalYokanlush sure didn't 💪
The new format is excellent
Love seeing the video format on UA-cam!
Ecstatic dance has changed my life not only for the movement but for the community. So many powerful emotions have come up when dancing w partners esp contact improv, I’ve been lead to tears and cried like a baby on a strangers shoulder, in that nonverbal space its so transformative!
Man crushing on these two dudes so hard
Bless these two men. Raising the vibration of humanity one podcast at a time :)
Whoa! Mic stands. Splashing the production budget, Ferriss. I like it.
Do you guys know what mic stands are these?
Not 100% sure, but gonna guess it's something like the Pyle-Pro PMKS8 or similar.
Very insightful interview. Loving the new format Tim! After listening to Aubrey on JRE, I decided to fly to Peru and drink Ayahuasca 3 years ago. I ended up creating my UA-cam channel shortly after, which has created many opportunities and growth for myself. So thank you Aubrey :p haha
Your Mate Tom very cool man! Good for u!
AYYYYYYY
Represent 👌
Same for me brother. Heard him on this interview last year and took off to Iquitos from Australia to sit with Mother Aya. Life has never been the same.
Your Mate Tom your docs are brilliant!
Great to see the two of you around the same table. So much openness and authenticity.
Thanks Tim and Aubrey, just what I needed.
I dealt with mental games from both parents during their divorce. They were constantly trying to pin us against the other. Threatening us that we owed them our love no matter what. I ended up having debilitating social anxiety because of lack of trust. I never felt good enough about myself and my worth to even be around people. I’m still learning to let my guard down, but I can now get past the instant reaction of *look down, don’t say anything* and actually smile at strangers and introduce myself. Thank you for sharing your story Aubrey.
Love this new format 💖
This interview is so inspiring! I love it.. Thank you for finding so many amazing people 🙏🏼
This podcast was gold. Tim you are an incredible interviewer.

Love the video format. My preferred method for consuming all podcasts (when available).
Loving the video podcast recordings so much! Always wondered why you didn't do video when you had the in person interviews. Aubrey always impressive, two thumbs up.

Thank you for this interview. Blows me away and very timely. You are both awesome interviewers. Your information on the emotions and dealing with them are inspiring and informing.
I like the dance part. It is really interesting.
Wow. Some surprisingly unique suggestions from Aubrey here. Thanks for pulling them out Tim!
finally....VIDEO PODCASTS!!!!!!!!
Two of my favorite people that I don't know personally
This two are amazing. Tim has the best voice the best insightful questions and the coolest vibe (and the most gorgeous blue eyes!)
First time watching Tim Ferriss be the interviewer. Just subscribed.
Great watch. Marcus is a very knowledgeable man and great book recommendations 💪
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Tim!
Sick video Tim. One of your best podcasts.
I got into some of Gabrielle Roth's work more than a decade ago...dancing is a wonderful way to connect mind, spirit, and body. I also love snowboarding on a microdose. Thanks for the musical suggestions! Great stuff. I was just talking to a couple young female friends of mine about how encouraging some of the masculinity work I see out here is. I appreciate you both as humans and as men.
great podcast, thank you
i see people dont have to hold their mics anymore, nice 😃seriously though, having conversations like this available is such a blessing. i cant thank you enough for making this happen, tim! i hope some day i have made it big enough to be on your show 🔥
I’ll take those 6 breaths today. Thank you for your wisdom, you both

Wow, what a man! Aubrey Marcus. Highly inspirational! And wow to you too Mr. Ferris. Excellent format! Could you pls share the 3 books that Mr. Marcus read? Thanks. And love the narrative of the ecstatic dancing. List of all the musics pls. Thanks in advance.
Brilliant and insightful video! Thanks for the ecstatic dance outline....I just went to a class a month ago - so much fun! Personally, Breathwork works wonders for me in terms of transformation! : )
Tim,
You’re louder than your guest. My volume button, fingers, ears, and brain worked hard!
I’m surprised by how much I liked the content of this video. Thank you!
Please take a look at Jeff Mertle Beach’s comments, too. He has a few helpful suggestions.
great interview! nice to have video on.
Love this video style. Nice work smashing thru some at Sx?
So thankful I stumbled upon this right now.
The "right now" is superfluous (not necessary). You're also mixing past tense (so thankful I stumbled upon this) and present tense (right now).
Awesome interview
Movement without judgment of self and of others is the basis of ecstatic dance. Follow where the journey takes you, feel the movement, feel the emotions, everyone's journey is unique.
Aubrey is the man!
This is great, I really like the video format. Great interview with Aubrey, his level of self awareness is impressive, especially realizing that his recent issue with trusting men had stemmed from issues with his father. Most people will go our while lives without being able to even realize our daddy issues, let alone resolve them.
I almost dind´t watchi this episode, just cuz I didn´t like his face expression... so glad I did, it is surprising how deep this guys´ thought process is...
thank you
Keep the videos going. It's a small adjustment with a large return.
Soundcloud link? (great interview, thanks!)
Wonderful interview Timothy! Much gratitude to Aubrey's insights and your video conversation! Six breathes.
Anyone knows that microphone table stand model? Thanks!
Good shit
Yay video
i used to listen audio but i have a chance watching it
I paused the video to buy truffles and take a micro-dose and continue watching, thanks.
Is there an ecstatic dance Spotify playlist?
This man is very unique. I would like to share a conversation supported by some fresh matcha tea. Gratitude.
Its been over a year since writing this comment, I wish out of all the content I have consumed, that i could stick with it and be true to my inner desires
Just wow. Video was great, the conversation was beyond...two highly driven and creative folks rapping intellectual. Bueno!
Where's the Spotify playlist?
Hey Tim Where did you get those mic stands??? What are they called??
Great stuff. Both the guys are just phenomenal. But Tim, you said you would share that Spotify playlist in the notes... I don’t see it
Nvm. Found it at tim.blog/podcast
I love this! These two inspired me to start my own podcast
You are in Austin?
Interesting! I felt many parallels with Aubrey, but after he mentioned Sex at Dawn and the realizations he had, now I am straining to have a conversation with him. Maybe he can market my first product for equity
I Am Attractiong Miracles Into My Life
turn up the mic !
Aubrey's vulnerability about Onnit's success at 1hr 12min is fucking awesome
these questions...gahgahgogo gahgah lets get on with conciousness
Dance baby!!!!
Hey microphone stands. welcome to the show.
would you know the model or brand of the mic stands?
I'd love to know that too!
Ludwik C. Siadlak found it!! www.pyleaudio.com/sku/PMKS8
Volume is abit low
This dude lives a life I'd like to live too. Specifically open relationships, making many stupid horrible mistakes. That's what lies in front of me, which kind of scares me, but I know I want those experiences.
Where is this office, does anyone know? The city looks nice
People hate Aubreys vulnerability. It helps me know i can achieve great things too
Aubrey seems like such a nice guy :)
Video > Audio
Nope :)
Was Aubrey talking about his relationship with Rogan falling through?
did they have a falling out?
Chase Carden now I'm interested if this is true
