- We chat via Zoom with Highly Suspect frontman Johnny Stevens to find out what he's been up to in lockdown. He talks us through writing their single 'These Days', its acoustic version and its epic music video. Plus, we look back on last year's album 'MCID' which featured collabs with Young Thug and Gojira. Finally, Johnny fills us in on some new music plans he is already hard at work on.

Johnny's personality is a lot different then I thought it was. The dude is really intelligent, humble, and comes across as really likeable.
I love that he makes music that genuinely makes him happy not to please the masses. Blending of different genres is what can make an artist stand out! Also how is this beautiful man living alone? :(
He's changed a bunch over the years!

I agree but that last album seemed to disappoint due to the mainstream hip hop side of things.. not much of a hip hop person at all but hopefully they get back to cutting more rock based tunes... in my opinion that is. Others may love the hip hop side of HS

I have just recently found this band. I LOVE the music, the story's within the songs are incredible. Please stay together ❤ I think the magic the chemistry in a band is so hard to find when there is something special. The icing on the cake is the voice of the singer. My GOD SO Much SOUL, Depth, even Blues in the your voice. Johnny your music is special it has so much meaning to me. As if you are singing about my views on life feelings in a moment. Shared experiences. I look forward to hearing your next song stories. Thankyou for doing what you do.
