Wheels would stick out, get in the way when pushing. When pushing many miles it’s easy to lose focus and kick a wheel, the tighter you can tuck the wheels in and still turn the less likely that happens.
I have a direct question: if you were to buy one of these two boards again (the whole set) and could only have one, which one would be your first choice?
If I could only have one setup for long distance it would be zennit bb, glass drop and Valk Slalom up front, ttx on the back and speed vents. If I were picking from just these two, the Zenit setup because of the adjustability of the brackets.
Hi, good video!, one question, I can see that the rear truck base is of different color, are you using 50/43 split setup? if so, how does it feel compared to 50/50 setup of the fathom? thanks!
Those are actually both 45 degree baseplates, pushed higher and lower with the brackets slots. So they end up at 55ish front and 35ish rear. The different color you see might be the bushings. I have them both set up really stiff for pushing, with the back a little stiffer. I did try it with a 15 degree plate on the back but it felt a little too dead for me. A split setup feels better for me, more turn in the front, more follow in the back, pushing straight not so much, but easier to control turns while pushing.
After that long, get whatever looks best to you. The more you like it the more likely you’ll ride it, then you’ll learn what you like and don’t like. The fathom is a good choice as long as you’re not too tall or don’t have a wide stance. I don’t actually have a az, but I liked the ab and bb+ and I love the maze and bb by zenit so I don’t think you can go wrong with anything by them.
Hey! I recently got a Zenit BB and want to potentially put some Dad Bods on it as well. I’m worried about wheel bite clearance though…the Zenit 90mm will wheel bite heel side on the front if I wedge them at all (I am running negative rake which maybe also contributing to that too though). What do you do to keep the front from wheel biting with the Dad Bods?
I put indy 159 on there and 1/4" lowering spacers and turned the wheels outside inwards. Sits nice and low. Not a single issue
I love the fact that more companies are building push decks for lpd. I ride a Pantheon supersonic but I might try some other options in the future.
Great video.... I gotta get one!👍
🤙🏼🤩🤩🤙🏼
*Great comparison!*
What would the con/pros be if i used my paris v3 180° trucks on a gbomb/bracket setup like this?

@@SKATEBOARDRIDE Thank you very much for your answer, it looks like a very nice set.
The Major Arc trucks might be great on that deck.
8.5” trucks are about right to match the wheels to the rails, Major Arc are too wide for me on this setup

What would you recommend for someone getting a board for commuting after a few decades not skating? Fathom, Zenit AZ, something else?

Is there any noticeable difference in weight between these two?
Minimal, Fathom feels a bit lighter.

Спасибо за видео! Но качество картинки ужастное, очень темно :( Но все равно это полезная информация.
Yeah, I turned another light on before I rambled on some more in the other video. I'll have to remember that.
