That's boot-eating mud! Great job on capturing the struggles. Watched all three videos, what do you think of this approach? 1. Strap across the trail between two of those larger trees behind you, about 8-10 feet up, if possible. 2. Snatch block on the strap, winch cable through it so you're pulling up at an angle more than just back, fighting the mud. 3. Put some tension on the cable and then... 4. Since you have that pump, use the discharge hose to excavate around the tires to loosen up that clay. 5. Keep winching in every minute or so to avoid losing ground in the battle. Go get it stuck again and see if that works!!!
You can feel your pain and the feeling of defeat at the end of that video in the hotel... can't say I've been exactly there but I can relate to the feeling. It just doesnt seem worth it, but you just gotta keep goin! This is one of those vids your gonna look back on in two years and laugh.
Does the Home Depot rent a Mini-x or is there a Battlefield Rental in the area. Get a rubber track CAT 301 or the next size up. It should make to up or down the hill. or better yet see if a local construction company or landscaper could help you out. A skid steer will not help you the way you are stuck. excavate around three sides. Then lift the back end up with the mini x to break the vacuum. Or a heavy lift helicopter :) Good luck. Wish I was closer to you I would come and give you a hand.
You might want to invest in a high lift jack. They are an essential piece of gear for serious off-roading. I’ve gotten some badly stuck trucks and SxS out of places where a winch just couldn’t get the job done.
I wasnt actually there but i have watched part 1 and part 2 now. Why isnt anyone aggressively pulling??? Just winding ur winch in and lighltly going in reverse looks like amateur hour. Glad You got it out but would your truck not make it to that mud hole? Give er hell in reverse and it woulda came out alot easier. Gotta be way more aggressive with the pulling.
The aggressive pulling is what broke my 5/8” shackle and tow straps. We took a heavy duty shackle and sheared the threads off and bent it open. There’s not much more aggression we could get.

Exactly what everyone is telling me haha
Glad you got it out. Think I would of tried a large tire with winch line over it and snatch block. Need to try pulling it up as well as out.
Daaaamn... I've seen some stuck machines.. but this one takes top place so far
Man......... that's freakin brutal... Hope I NEVER get stuck like this, lol!

You’ll see how we got it out tomorrow in part 3
If it was just suction on the tires, all you needed to do was deflate them
I think you needed a boat not a sxs
Dang thought that think would hydo lock after starting it
Nope she fired right up like a trooper
This is CRAZY!
I know right?

Maybe a hair cut like a normal person......
What kind of man sits there and criticizes another mans haircut?

I never seen any snatch blocks being used,
