Nice thumbnail. It is a bit concerning how many times there was an emergency at Bella's café, but one was a false alarm, so in technicality the café gets 4. Nowadays, the emergency always comes through as, Norman Price is...stuck on a cliff, stuck in a tree, on fire, drowning in the sea, been kidnapped by pirates, been thrown into outer space, being beaten up by robots, has ran off to Vegas with the council's money.
Swear all of the emergencies in the newer series are caused by Norman in some way, there’s no sense of originality anymore - I get wanting to keep Fireman Sam’s legacy going but Mattel are seriously milking it
@@cridly More reasons I don’t like the CGI series, Norman always swears blind he’ll be careful yet he never learns, it’s a running gag that died back in Series 7 or 8
@@elviscridlington4284 A gag that wasn’t funny. Ik humor is subjective but when your show’s about teaching kids how to stay safe, maybe those kinds of gags aren’t helping much? Just a thought. I get pretty pissed at the “it’s just a kid’s cartoon, you’re not the target audience” statement. Kids shows deserve plenty of criticism since children are just getting started in the world and need to learn important things. We should be considerate about what we put on their screens.
That could actually be the case but they could have considered Trevor’s bus fire in Camping to be a special service call obviously until Sam extinguished it, they weren’t to know the extent of the fire
Coming back to the special service call, apparently a goof in Dilys’ Forgetful Day was that the emergency’s message shouldn’t have said a special service call but should’ve an RTA on the Newtown Road seeing as it was an accident
@@elviscridlington4284 That's interesting. I guess my theory is proved wrong since the other emergencies Trev gets involved with that don’t have to do with his bus don’t get the designation. So does that mean the bus driving service is a special service, in technical terms (minus the example in Dilys’ Forgetful Day ofc)?
@@cridly Strange because a special service call is usually one that requires rescue. Therefore the call outs such as penny being caught by fallen cables or when Bella got stuck in the left should of technically been special service calls

Next time: *Norman Price is in the ocean and is fucking dead*

Hi Elvis Cridlington How's Satation Officer Steel
How much papaer dose that teleprinter have left
The emergencies with Trevor's bus always get a "special service" designation. Maybe it's bc Trevor's an auxiliary fireman.
