As a Kawhi fan I only like somewhat agree with the takes, but Murry didn't average more points in the series or the playoffs that year. The only thing I can think that you are talking about is game 7 where admittedly kawhi didn't show up. And on a side note I feel like no one has a good take on Kawhi's 2014 FMVP either they think he was like 2019 Kawhi or they think he was still just a role player who got it because he played good defense on Lebron. The truth is that Kawhi performed like a star (not a superstar) that series averaging 18 6 and 2 on crazy shooting splits. The dude literally almost shot 60 60 80 and yes he did all this while still being the best perimeter defender in the league. I don't disagree, but I think the difference is that the 2015 finals could have gone either way regardless of injuries, but tipped noticably in the Dubs favour after those injuries. By comparison, the 2019 Warriors were basically unbeatable when healthy, so the only reason Kawhi really had a shot at all is because KD and Klay went down.
