Kobra VR just doesn't stop innovating! They're always tweaking and improving things, working to provide the very best VR experience for their customers they can. Recently they sent over a whole slew of new stuff for me to check out. There are some new upgraded parts for their Sidewinder and Ultra-Lite stocks, a new magnetic front dock that works with all their stocks and two new stocks! One comes vis a conversion kit for their most popular gunstock for the Quest platform, the Wolverine DMR called The Scout, and a completely new stock called the Vyper. In this video we take a look at all this new stuff to keep you informed about what's new for the best VR gunstocks on the market!

Thank you for the video! Would the magnetic front dock upgrade be able to work with the existing shotgun accessory upgrade for the Wolverine DMR? Or would you need to pick between using one or the other?

Yooooooooooooooooooo! You know I had to drop a comment on this one! First and foremost, how long did it take you to edit the first 15 secs of this video!? (I know a master never tells his secrets, trust me I know), second, this video is so good bro! I nearly chocked on the juice I was drinking when this vid went live! And lastly, the production of these videos is out of this world! The thought that it takes to make something this polished is beyond me! Amazing work on the video, brotha. Do you believe that magnetic locking in its current variation is better than the grip handles? I know in a few of your previous videos you mentioned that you prefer the grip handles over magnetic connection. Is that still true and the current state of magnetic grip connection?
Also would you please tell me your exact stock and attachments? Definitely going to be ordering a new one soon and just wanted to see what you're running.
Ooo man. Good questions... Overall I think I still prefer the grip handle for your non-dominant hand. Thanks to Kobra VR's Wolverine platform semi-permanently fixing your dominant hand controller to the stock there's not fuss at all there when you need to switch from your primary in game to your side arm or grenade or something. As for the state of this current magnetic dock, I do like it much better than solutions on other gunstocks. It only takes an hour or so to build the muscle memory needed for the magnets to find each other, and when it comes to using bolt actions and pump action shotguns the magnetic front dock is far more versatile than the grab handles. I mean, bolt actions with the grab handles aren't really that bad, I've actually gotten very used to/fast at cycling a bolt by rotating the rifle in my right hand so I can cycle it with my left hand. It's literally just as quick as doing it right handed so the pump action shotgun capability is a better selling point in my mind for the magnetic dock than bolt action rifles. I find the grab handles are more stable; if you put enough pressure on your front hand in any direction, up, down, left or right it will either move a little or detach which can be annoying. but it's certainly not a deal breaker by any means. It's just one of the things with that style of stock you have to adjust to.
As for what I run, I've been using the Sidewinder almost exclusively since it came out. It's super lightweight and it's ability to fold in half is awesome. It does take some getting used to to get proficient at collapsing it and extending it back out but once you do it's bar far the most fun to use in my opinion.
just bought the sidewinder. w/ the shotgun upgrade.. doesn't get in until end of sept-oct.... hopefully he'll make a quest 3 conversion kit?
Should you be sooner than this, not changing dispatch dates as yet as etsy doesn't let you mass edit current order dates. Re q3 conversion kit, we need to get hands on q3 before we know what is practicable, so I can't say for certain.
Have there been any news on the haptic gun cobravr was working on?
This is a work in progress and it was handed over to a third party with specialised knowledge who are investigating its potential 👍

I would like it if these upgrades were offered as options.
If I wanted to buy, for example, a Sidewinder with a new adjustable shoulder stock, why do I have to buy the old type of stock that I won't use? Same with Scout upgrades and others.
I'm pretty sure you can do that. I don't think there's options for it on the Etsy page but Falandorn is very accommodating. He's usually in contact with all his customers when an order is placed and you can specify what parts you want. He's also very good about answering questions on Twitter... or X as I guess it's called now, but yah, if you tweet @kobra_vr either Fal or his wife will get back to you as soon as they can.

What I like about the Kobra VR is that you can change between long and short weapon quickly.
The other gunstocks can only be adjusted between different types of long guns. At least I haven't found any others similar to the KobraVR ones.
If I decide to go with KobraVR, I will definitely contact them for configuration.
The only thing that puts me off a bit is the high cost of customs fees and especially postage. Even with stocks bought from the US, the postage to the EU is often lower than what KobraVR has from the UK. With a 100€ product I pay another 50€ in fees. And 50% more is too damn much. Sidewinder with the fees will get the price to the level for which I can buy UniStock MK1 PRO or Magtube.
I will wait for the launch of Vyper to make my decision, and I will look on the internet to see if anyone else is making a folding gunstock.
Hi, totally out of topic for this video. but can you help me out with my microphone?
basically I got a headphone microphone(HyperX Cloud Stinger Core2) but my laptop have this problem where it uses cam mic instead of my headphone mic... there's no other input other than microphone array so I was hoping it auto switches to my headphone mic when I plug it in..
so how do I fix it, I've already upgraded/reinstalled my drivers, checked my audio settings. I think I tried every UA-cam videos that were there but it's still using that cam mic. help me please.

That was the shooting range in Onward. Also that was the PC VR version of Onward just FYI.
