Even though this guy is at only level 80, his stats and attack are crazy strong. Not to mention his evilty is especially dangerous since it drains the stats of anyone too close to him. Don't gang up on this guy by grouping around him, or you'll only do a little damage while he'll be able to wreck your party.
I didn't get here overleveled because I wanted it to be a challenge. Didn't level grind, didn't have any real good generics(Seriously, three or four of my chars were classified as Incompetent and not promoted to the higher tiers! o.O), nor leveled equipment. My strongest units were Laharl, Flonne and Asagi(each of them around lvl 100, If I remember right). God, It was HARD! The first time I didn't understand exactly how his evility worked and didn't know Dimension Chaos had such a big range either. All I can say about the first attempt, is that I was ra**stomped and could barely scratch him. I beat him in the second attempt with the same setup though, since this time I knew the map and his evility... Nowhere near easy, though. By the end of the battle, I had BARELY made it - only Laharl and Flonne left, with Laharl nearly dead and Flonne... Was going to be next on the chopping block, since if I didn't finish Xeno in that turn, I'd use her to lift him and survive for at least another round. It was honestly the most thrilling final boss in Disgaea to me(the guy who gave him this evility deserves a reward).
The fact that Xenolith, Pleinair, and Seraph Lamington aren't playable characters in this game is very disappointing. That and it just gave this game another sin.
+chaotixninja5 I was eagerly awaiting for a DLC that would make him playable. Sadly it never came. Guess we'll just have to wait for that eventual D2 expansion port.
The guy actually steals your stats, so you end up in situations like at 3:40 where he one shots three characters that are thrice his level as his first move.
If anyone is picking up this game now its not hard to beat it at level 80, you just need one guy super tanky and have your healer on a mount and have max 4 units out at a time, beat it with my teams average level being 70
I was stuck on him for days. Only Disgaea boss that has ever done that. I refused to overlevel too much (think I was about lv120). I also refused to lift him. I cheesed him by having Flonne pelting him from afar with Fire spells. And I lowered his fire resistance by deploying Fire Dragons. I had to use Asagi as bait for the 2nd turn (somehow she SURVIVED!). Had my Armor Knight blocking attacks. Only lost a single character when my Armor Knight decided not to shield Flonne. My Red Witch finished the job next turn. Toasted the boss with 3 fire spells total (lowering his Fire RES was REALLY effective). I was probably unfathomably lucky to get that result, under those conditions.
Hey Drago-bro, nice video you have there :P btw i'll be getting the game tomorrow. Well for Xenolith I actually enjoy more his Japanese Voice, the screams during the Dimension Chaos are awesome :P
A pair of casters mounted on a pair of gargoyles will mess Xenolith up pretty bad, so long as the gargoyles have the evility that halves how much damage they take from all attacks as long as they stay in one place, and they stay a good distance away from each other. I used a gargoyle and a shark demon - shark demons have low RES (so Xenolith won't become more resistant to my casters' spells), but high HP (and Xenolith can't steak HP) I like this strategy because it makes use of the mounting mechanic, and I wanted to use it for SOMETHING.
I came at him whit a strategy that actually worked. Level 90 laharl and everybody else between the 50 and 75. I didn't even need to grind to get those levels, I symply keep trying like 9 times before I beat him.
got rekt on multiple attempts just kept throwing myself at him used different strategies all that then I said screw it and left to go lvl grind didn't come back till laharal(most powerful character at the time) was in the mid to late 200 or early 300 everyone else was 150+ I didn't rethink in terms my plan was simply power up the FUCK out of laharal with the stat boosting monsters and lanzarote and send everyone else in as a distraction when laharal was all good to go I sent him in with who ever else survived xenolith and use overlord's dimension. I wasn't gonna use some complex strategy I wasn't gonna use the best of what all my units had to offer I was gonna completely OVERPOWER xenolith AND IT FELT FUCKING AMAZING in fact it felt soooo amazing I did it multiple times ahh memories
desco monster grinding was the only way i beat the last chapter in disgaea 4 i mean GOD DAMN the monsters there were like lvl fucking 90 the highest of any last chapter enemies in the series so far but holy hell is this fight absurd as hell much worse than nemo indeed, overleveling wont save u from this guy unless u go to the utmost extreme, guess its time to start actually getting equipment instead of power lvling until i win cuz it aint working so far(guess thats what they were going for...it worked)
I had a theif steal his equipment so Xenolith couldn't one shot my characters, i had to buy the most expensive equipment just to barely beat him. Plus you only get one shot at him, if you lose to him you'll get a bad ending where Sicily sacrifices herself to save the netherworld and you'll start right back to episode 1 so make sure you save
Xenolitch kicked my ass pretty good the first time, and the bad ending is so damn sad... :( and then I was NOPE, GRINDING TIME! and got the good ending :D
>Says he's fighting to protect Etna.
>Kills Etna, Flonne, and a random Skull with first attack.
XENOLITH: BROTHER OF THE YEAR
Yeah but that's kinda not his fault.
One of the few Disgaea bosses I underestimated due to his level the lifting technique was the only way I beat him
*Desco gets pulled out of the base base panel*
"Ehehehehe~ Death!"
*Desco gets put back in the base panel*
I think he's harder then other Final Bosses in the series because in this game the Defense stat actually matters.

I nearly lost this battle. :p
Etna and Asagi saved the day with their Guns in general. XD
I grinded just alittle to 90, but I used that machine gun demon with Laharl with atk buffs. It shredded his HP well.
What is depressing is that Xenolith is not playable :'( And man... he's tough for a final boss.
The fact that Xenolith, Pleinair, and Seraph Lamington aren't playable characters in this game is very disappointing. That and it just gave this game another sin.
It wouldn't have made sense for xenolith to playable.
Neither would Nemo in Disgaea 4, but he's playable in that game. Just go through the Fuka & Desco Show.
+chaotixninja5 I was eagerly awaiting for a DLC that would make him playable. Sadly it never came.
Guess we'll just have to wait for that eventual D2 expansion port.
MegaOverclocked rip
At least young lamington (christo) is playable in 5
Good challenge for a final boss, thanks to his evility xD
The guy actually steals your stats, so you end up in situations like at 3:40 where he one shots three characters that are thrice his level as his first move.
Make sure You buy all the best Equipment from the shop as well xD

cant defeat this fvking lv80 overpower boss

why do you equip muscles instead of armors
Some of the names for the flambergs are references to kof character i think
the only reason i beat this guy was because of heavy knight.

I did overgrind laharl in my first try in this battle and completely owns xenolith coz all disgaea games can be beaten with minimal knowledge.
I had a theif steal his equipment so Xenolith couldn't one shot my characters, i had to buy the most expensive equipment just to barely beat him. JapanGator yea cuz its my first time playing, i was totally angry when i had to restart
Well, I already had Laharl leveled up to 500lv before i finished storyline, so it wasn't a hassle :D
do you plan on doing Cave of Ordeals maps? im currently in the dark with info on the game, lv3000 with just statisticians worked on. lol
Asagi being a cannon fodder...
Recommend for solo laharl lv150
he still is a foolish demon overlord and I see some of my power there off of my sword too but this demon was not enough to defeat me.
Tyrant Overlord Baal but he did
wait, how u get new character? i mean the one that cannot available at shop?
Xenolitch kicked my ass pretty good the first time, and the bad ending is so damn sad... :( and then I was NOPE, GRINDING TIME! and got the good ending :D
Sinbad Kaminari yup, i almost win the fight wit only laharl
Wow.. Xenolith can one shot your high level characters...
He was an easy boss but he did manage to almost knockout my lvl 70 Nekomata...
Kind of some high stats there on your own characters
Final Xenolith is stupidly strong lmao
I luckily beat him with level 90 units and buffs.
How do u get him
its prinny time dood!
that battle was not easy tho, even at lvl 150-200 the battle isnt as easy as it seems, if your not geared correctly you will loose.
why do people lvl so much, i defeated him with only lvl 78-100 characters. It made that fight much more challenging.
Lv 30 avobe xenolith's and still defeated
I killed xenolith with aura punch with lvl250 Laharl
음 난 이거 애들 100렙에 템은30강에 맞 추고 깼는데 이 분ㄴ은 렙 빨이넹
