Finally complete here is the final part for the firestrike edition future videos will be shorter but i wanted the first one to be very detailed to help beginners. Really hope you enjoyed this video shoutout to the following 5 people from my Nerf Rival Ammo Unboxing Video - Jamestar 2712 , Bobert baller , James Massey , D Benn , Korviliath , Joshua Robles , lets add 3 more just because i am happy to have finished this project - Gustaaf , Homelee665 , Neon Dragon have a great day everyone time to go to sleep LOL
This looks awesome Cj. As with the other paintjobs you showed us on this channel previously, you have a great eye for color shemes and how to balance colors on your blasters. I love how you show the perfect use of spray paints, acrylic paints and sharpie. Keep these tutorials coming my friend.
Cj Nerf Could you do a video on modifying a nerf gun to shoot paintballs? I’ve really been trying to figure it out and the furthest I’ve gotten has been increasing the power of a sidestrike and gluing paintballs to the end of the elite darts. Even if you don’t make a video, could u reply to this to give me some ideas? Thanks!
Looks awesone! Great paint job. I'm glad you talk about the do's and donts of painting, not a whole lot of people talk about things like starting off and ending off the piece.
@@CjNerf I love it haha, I hope you do another paint job. Do you have a paint gun? Like one for cars that is. Makes it easy on larger blasters and you have a huge variety of colors to pick from. I use PPG Automotive paints and they look great on blasters.
I hope you will answer this but why use the black vynal coat then spaty the green color on why not just use the green color and not waste the black spaypaint?
I have always used black vinyl dye as the base coat ! Kinda like habit at this point you are probably correct I probably could have just did straight green but when scratches happen I will still have black.behind it unless the scratch is crazy deep
@@CjNerf im just got some black and tan spray paint im going to spray the blaster with tan and then let fry and spary clear coat do u think that is fine?
Thanks so much! Helped a I have decided to use a firestrike since you use it in this video. I definitely suggest you do more videos like these but with different blasters. Thanks again for the wonderful video, have a great day man!
That's a sweet lookin' lil blaster CJ! Now let's do some hydrodipping. I have some hydrodipping plans, i.e. that Evader you sent me! I'm still waiting for some parts to that, but when I get done that thing is gonna be a showpiece!
Yeah hydro dipping is something i have wanted to do for a long time - i may try it on video at some point to see how it comes out ! I will jack it up for sure LOL but it will make for entertaining TV LOL
I am glad you enjoyed it Pirate so glad to see you again my friend honestly i forgot how much fun painting blasters was! i missed it honestly it has been like over a year since my last one !
Tip: if you slip with the pin (I use 1 on most of my PaintJobs), take your Top coat, and spray a little out, and brush over the mistake. I use a Q-Tip/CottonSwab to do those corrections.
At first, didnt like the green. Then you added yellow. Liked it a bit more. Then you added all the orange bits. Then I liked the project. Please Cj make another video painting with masking tape?
I always try new paint color combos at first i thought it was a bit dark but i knew the orange and yellow would help it pop but i was wondering as well what the final product would look like and i dig it in the end
Oh man this is such a great tutorial! You make a great teacher for all of us! I cannot wait to have Viviën do her first blaster. Might get her a zuru x-shot micro shot 😉
Thanks Gustaaf i really appreciate that just make sure you pick up a respirator that will fit her since the fumes from spray paint and clear coat are brutal and paint outside not indoors LOL
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’m about to try painting the nerf Pulse Rifle from Aliens. Any tips on dealing with big electric guns with lots of internal moving parts? This is the first nerf gun I will have painted using this method, and more or less my first one ever.
You can paint raised surfaces by gently tapping it with a piece of cloth or a bit of sponge, or even simply just use your finger itself. I would just lightly tap the surface of the relief, let it dry for a bit so you won't scrub it off with your next layer, and give it as many layers as needed. The less you press the cleaner your edges will be.
Don't use the usual black Sharpie permanent marker eveyone. I used it and it has a weird purple shine to it and makes the gun look unusual. If that is your thing then go for it but for me I just wanted pure black.
Honestly there will not be a giveaway for awhile i just did a huge one and the shipping costs were a lot thanks for watching my friend hope you have a great day !
I thought this was a series. The list goes: Part 1. Basic set up Then part 3. Painting the shell Then random paint lesson ....so confused. Or just dont get how to navigate

Hey Cj you should start a new series for internal modifications of the blaster
Well i am learning the whole mod thing as well so i have not done to many advanced mods or shell integrations !
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’m about to try painting the nerf Pulse Rifle from Aliens. Any tips on dealing with big electric guns with lots of internal moving parts? This is the first nerf gun I will have painted using this method, and more or less my first one ever.
Good Tutorial und great Job!
Thank you very much HK0211able much appreciated
How many layers you recommend we do for the citadel brush paint
You can paint raised surfaces by gently tapping it with a piece of cloth or a bit of sponge, or even simply just use your finger itself. I would just lightly tap the surface of the relief, let it dry for a bit so you won't scrub it off with your next layer, and give it as many layers as needed. The less you press the cleaner your edges will be.
Do you have to use spray paint and clear gloss? Or can you just paint by hand.
Already trying this out
That is awesome let me know how it comes out !
Trying it out on a different blaster but will do. Awesome tutorial
Thats awesome cannot wait to hear how it comes out !
Great tutorial! You should number the titles to make it easier to watch them in order :)
Hello! How long does the paint last before it starts chipping?
LOVE IT!
Great video I am curious what's the Brown paper you used for the mat?
What is the clear coat?
Check the description of the video my friend i have buy links to everything i used thanks for watching
didnt know painting a nerf gun would be that much trouble..
can u paint it with out open the gun apart?
How to paint Adventure force Nexus pro?
I would have either turned the orange to yellow or yellow to orange but that's just my opinion
I appreciate the feedback Jiggz thanks for watching ! i hope you enjoyed the video though
I’m just scared of the paint chipping any way to decrease the chances of this
The clear coat helps prevent that but if you scrape it on say concrete it probably still will scratch
Why must we add a top and base coat?
Don't use the usual black Sharpie permanent marker eveyone. I used it and it has a weird purple shine to it and makes the gun look unusual. If that is your thing then go for it but for me I just wanted pure black.
Could I just spray it?
YAY
LOL 👍
Cj i will change from acount to offsetmicrobe43.
So i love your videos
HI CJ its my new account

Warhammer 40k
Is that what the paint scheme looks like never played that game !
Why clear paint it supposed to stay Better
I thought this was a series.
The list goes:
Part 1. Basic set up

man I just want a black nerf gun.
