Off Grid Solar Cabin - picking up LG 380 solar panels

We are currently configuring a new Off Grid Solar Log Cabin with Northwoods Cabin Company. The configuration is based on my proven cabin #2 setup. that has worked well for the last 9 months. System voltage is 52V nominal with all Victron premium components and 2 or 3 LG 380 solar panels. I can't wait to get some feedback.

Very interesting, im surprised there isn't a built in way to step down a voltage that is too high for the charge controller

There are 450Voc charge controllers but mainly in hybrid inverter/controller units. Growatt has a 250VDC open circuit charge controller (if you can find it for sale!) in 48V nominal. All are very cheap and not many approved for use in Canada and USA. The SRNE brand hybrid is compliant with Canadian Code, CSA/ETL and UL listed, cheap, available online in 48V LiFePO4, and stackable.
