Will you still consider living in the countryside? 🌊🍀✅

Question, does Ireland allow foreign workers to work/live like people living with HIV (under treatment)?

Was looking around google maps of Ireland and found this video after growing curious how people even *survived* so far away from a big city like Ireland. "Do they not have internet? Do they make their own food?"
Of course, I live in America though so I guess I just blindly assumed Ireland was also pretty massive. When you described 3-4 hours max as a LONG trip to Dublin, I had to double take and check for myself lmao. Didn't realize Ireland was smaller than a single US state. Puts into perspective that country-siders aren't as far out as I might've thought, which is interesting, especially with how remote everything looks out there from what I've seen.

Interesting perspectives! I think we're due for an updated "Cost of Living in X" video! Would love to see how costs have changed over time in the countryside.

That's true! This is one on my list. 🙂 It's definitely changed since my first cost of living video. 😅

Great video. Train for sure the best option. You highlight the issues perfectly.

we are slap bang in middle of Ireland so well understand the travel problems, cork and dublin both same distance away. but not swap either for where we are.

@@JenniferEstella least you have airport in Kerry, takes us hour to Dublin which i try to avoid or cork which is brilliant airport but bit limited on some of destinations, but did manage Paris from there few weeks ago, so not to bad, also you can fly to Scotland, which suites me as i go there now and then as well.

Eto pala ang next na haharapin kong pag subok 😭. I like living in Kerry pero we have to be realistic talaga sa pros and cons like pag nadelay o sira ang tren in the middle of the day mahirap humagilap ng news pero ang bait ng officemates ko pag na stuck daw ulit ako tumawag lang ako. Very nice para silang mga pinoy with lesser marites elements.

Yup, yung back and forth talaga to Dublin mejo hassle. And yes, Irish people are kind and warm. ☺️

Hi Jen, thanks for sharing informative videos here. I’m new to Dublin and I’m considering to move outside Dublin later due to high house rental cost especially if living with the family. Would Tralee be a good place to live in with a family? Considering nearby facilities like schools, hospital or transportation.. Thank you for any advice!🙂

Hey there! I’m glad you’re looking at Tralee as a potential home. It’s a family town, it’s quiet and with facilities you need like schools and hospitals. Transport is pretty much by car. You can reach out to me via instagram if you want to know more about Tralee 🙂 my handle is jenestxx

Is Cork a viable option then? Is it the best of both worlds?

Very good question! Cork is the second biggest city in Ireland. It’s very similar to Dublin. If you travel a lot and love activities, I can see why you’d like the cities. For me, I’d still pick the countryside 🙂

Hey Ron, Ireland is one of the most expensive countries in EU. And London is not very much behind. That said, you might want to consider the lifestyle and accessibility of the country instead.
