noticed on Scrapman's channel, if you place your toilet on a lift at the edge of a building and hop in immediately after dropping it from the lift, you can fall as far as you want without taking any fall damage at all
Or if you leap off a warehouse you’ll fall so far you clip through the ground and teleport back up above ground unharmed
or just use the elevators like a normal person...

You are right about how measured time doesn't line up with the sun. The easiest example is opposite sides of a timezone. Time is measured as the same for both, but the eastern side has the sun rise earlier, while the western side has it rise later.
It also gets more complicated when you account for precession, among other things.

It also depends on the date. For example, tax day in the US, Easter, and a few other days have solar high points that are as much as 20 minutes off measured noon.

It might become more important in later development as they work on a story line as there is some audio clips in the install that talk about the city.

Maybe for the flyer you could have a Harrier jump jet inspired one; 4 thrusters that you can pivot to point back, down or forward with suspension glitches for stability and turning.
Garment boxes were a great find. They're the only thing Kosmo can take home to his own world. (Have to be opened in this world)

Logged into our multiplayer world to discover every vehicle had floppy wheels, just like the ones caused by the gopher in Multiplayer Monday. Tracked down the cause to one of these bikes which had been welded to a house with the sensors in range of the floor. Rewelding higher so the sensors were out of range corrected the issue.
Imagine killing haybots by shooting them with spudgun.

If you do a Warehouse run, bring a vehicle with a ton of storage, and take everything on top and outside it's bottom.
Otherwise, try making a flying machine with a big reservoir of fuel to find the Hay-Maze. Nobody has done a video on that yet.
y'know after watching this, gotta say I really hope there will be more interesting kinds of loot in the future, like, idunno, maybe modular parts to give your spudguns various boosts or something

@kAN, everyone, you can use a toilet to drop from hights. just place it on a lift on the edge of the hight and delete the lift and emidiet jump on the toilet (you may fall trough the map but just stay sitting on the toilet, it will spawn ontop of the map)
Fun fact placing your lift a split second before you hit the ground actually cancels out your fall damage

i got a shirt that says "control freak" with a controller on it and then i couldn't see the text on the shirt because i was wearing the overalls and had no other pants.
When the survival first released me and one of my friends killed a big red with only our hammers, I forgot how many times we had to hit him, it took us 2 and a half hours.

Will say when I did this I was more impressed with how the city looked than the loot quality. Spent like 4 in game days looking through the entire place and I only got 4 gold chests. Seemed like I would have gotten better loot just hitting up smaller buildings
I have a few good suggestions for your truck first make the wheelbase slightly longer and make a stand up sleeper just encase kosmo wants to sleep in the truck as well
I think that scrap city might be similar to a warehouse, a room with amazing loot. I knew nothing of the existence of scrap city until kAN's previous video, hence, that's a 100% honest guess.
BTW, some of the roads that are going into the warehouses lead somewhere else behind them.

If you locate the spawn of the boss, you could trap him with ramps from the warehouse roof
And with the help of a sensor and a few mountable spud guns,
You could make a component kit farm!

I agree a duo warehouse run would be cool to watch. Also, I like how at the end, when you delete the bed, it doesn't mention your spawn point moving; so if you had died, you wouldnt have gone to that bed.
you can jump off a building's roof or floor by standing in a toilet seat while it's falling off the roof. just build a support or something attached to the building but a bit further (like a couple blocks further) than the roof and remove the support and jump in or you can put the seat on a curved part of the building, again jump in the seat and roll all the way down. you can also jump without taking damage by putting your build next to the building and try to jump towards your creation spamming E. ScrapMan did it

Noon is the high point of the day no matter what, it's just during your summer the days get longer, and during your winter, the days get shorter. the middle of the day doesn't change.
Kan, you can place a platform and a toilet on it and then remove the platform and quickly sit on it and as long as you’re on the toilet you won’t take any fall damage. A very good way to fall from great heights without taking damage.
The one thing I want in survival is a map, doesn't have to be a good map, just a map, or at least a way for me to leave beacons in places of interest.
I've noticed the first time you loot an area there's barely any crates. But usually sometime later if you revisit an area it's like doubled the amount of loot. So maybe a second visit to Scrap City would yield better results?
Noon is always the high point... in summer it is higher than in winter.
There is some wiggle room for time zones... some places are not perfectly aligned to the time zone, so the actual noon is not at the “clock” noon
For getting off a building, you can place the toilet on your lift at the edge, remove the lift, hop on, and tada.
1:35 I think you're right, because we have to change the time by an hour every half year, but it's not like the sun just freezes for an hour
With the new update that will soon come out, they’re adding an official boss, maybe that will happen here too later on
Time of day is more location based than season based. :) Most places, noon is peak light (but not way up north eh).

kan u can try scrapman's tricks in getting down from tall building. just pop out a seat, put it on the edge of the building then get in it before it falls down.
i dont know if the sm wiki is correct, but i dont think farmbot is a general term
from what i can tell:
green is a totebot, yellow is a haybot, blue is a tapebot, and red is a farmbot

@Alexzander Mineo that's true... I'm pretty sure they meet other qualifications for being fruit. I'm no food expert, so I dont really know what else those would be...
If you build over an area bots won't spawn there. I farmed 300 of every fruit and veggie to take to the trader by putting a slab over the area I was building my farm at to keep from having to deal with raids. Also the haybots that were there when I originally got on to the island have never respawned there either.
The death hill is like that roller coaster from the polar express.
Yall need to try a multi player warehouse run, maybe even just a multiplayer reset where you guys play from the beginning with each other

Just because it's a little weird to me how you haven't noticed for the warehouses yet, it has two sides. You should check the other sides of the warehouses when you are on the roads. The road could continue on behind the warehouse.
a lot of my builds in survival mode are things you built in survival mode. i made the motorcycle you made and i also made a double wishbone suspension car like the one you made. mine is a lot bigger though. and also i found a second mechanic station when i was exploring one time and i stole the master battery and tried putting it in an electric engine. too bad it doesn't work like that.

For me it seems like the developers rolled out the suruval part way earlier than they should have. Maybe they thought that the corona pandemic is a good time to do so (when everyone stays home). So they've built those things like scrap city and I'm sure they have a plan for but they just had no time implementing stuff into which makes it literally an "empty" (or almost) city with some red bots in it. Sad, but I think patience is the key here

you should definitely build an out-post at that building at the end with the part where you can park vehicles, plus there's land next to it to put farm. I would suggest doing a multi-player Monday and you bring the guys in and build a base and farm and fight the bots.
If you place your lift on the edge of a high place then place your toilet on the lift. Then delete the lift and get into the toilet before it falls and you'll take no damage.

The game got an update on tape bots .the 2 extra shots they shoot when they die doesn't hurt you but after the update now those 2 shots can easily hurt you
1:40 the sun is at the highest point between 11am and 1pm in Canada
I searched every building in the city, i got 6 gold chests and was lucky enough to get a rare garment box which kinda made the time worth it. The rest of the loot wasn't really worth mentioning. But we know where the city is for future updates.
Kan you should make the waol horizontal and three blocks from the ground like scrpmanyou can use your toilet to jump off buildimg like you put your toilet on ur lifter and pick up the lifter and quickly sit on the toilet no damage
There should be a scope/red dot sight modifications for the spud gun that you can craft
Build a barge to take the truck in stead of going up or down the hill
I am really surprised you didn't use a toilet-crash-pod. Seat on lift. Remove lift, get in seat before it falls. 0 fall damage.

Btw, noon is when the sun is at its highest point in the sky, but depending on where you are on the globe, the sun may never reach its *true* highest point as its ark will be off-centre. Also depending on where you are in a time-zone noon may be off be a few degrees.
typical Axolot game, they have good ideas but lack game design abilities, they should be watching some game makers tool kit videos. Totally awesome to see that city though, thanks man. Makes you wonder about building a mono-rail track inside those tube walkways
