Looks like one of mine. Was Dexter lol
Yes mate I think it was 😎👍🏼💪🏼
One of the best restorations I have seen by anybody on any channel. Well done!
The yellow rims actually look pretty good with that yellow. Another great job. Beautiful car. Have a good evening.
That car looks hot!!! Love what you did to the interior!! Gives it a lot of class as does the yellow paint. Beautiful restoration, Rob!!! 👍👍👍👍
I really like the yellow color on this casting. I especially like the added touches to the motor and seats.
I had this car as a kid and I'm sure it was a late '70's version. I also had a earlier 1973 Yellow version too, so when you chose yellow for the colour it was kind of fitting I guess. Looks great with the added touches. I think George did one of these too
Yes i did. It was my first custom
Me too,also had it.
It was more of a dark mustard than yellow, really.
I still have that same exact Matchbox from when I was a kid in the '70s. Awesome.
Definitely an improvement over the original. Those wheels go so good with that color paint. Very beautiful Rob, fantastic job. Thanks for sharing another great video, take care and stay safe.
Nicely done, sir. Yellow is definitely a good period color for this car.
One of my favourite toy cars when I was a kid! Thanks for doing this one.
Once again you knocked it out of the park..with those wheels and the body lines of the casting, it reminds me if the car used in the movie The Wraith. Keep up the amazing work....
Love the gold wheels with the yellow body. Another great job Rob.
That looks so much more appealing than the original...awesome custom!
Awesome conversion. Yellow suits this car. Great call on the color.
Another superb job. The gold wheels look very doo with the yellow paintwork. Great interior detailing.
Countach is my favorite European Sports car . and great job with your restoring of it .
the car looks great. i like the yellow detail on the seats and the rims really fit the theme
Classic Gold BBS wheels look great on almost anything... even today.
That casting is so-so detail wise but man it looks great in yellow.
Looking cool in the sunshine yellow and new wheels, another great job Rob
Love the Italian supercars of this era. Looking good as usual. Let me win.
Nice restoration, the Lamborghini looks awesome.. The gold wheels looks good on the car.
I'm glad you went with yellow. The Countach was born in 1974. The concept car that Lesney used was yellow. I would have preferred a larger bit of rubber on the rear tires and silver disc wheels to make it 100% correct. And my own ideals in customizing would have thined up the A pillars. Over all lowering the car too...but that's me. I wasnt aware the concept Countach even existed. Now the hunt is on and I must find one.
Love your work. Now I gotta see how Danny screwed up the casting....😜😂😅
Great great job again! The model represents the prototype of the Countach, and there even was a yellow one, so you're historically correct 😎
Hi Rob,it's looking nice with the gold wheels, again details inside the car is brilliant especially that engine in silver, another top model.
Another great job! I'm a big fan of those rear wheel arches, too bad they weren't ever implemented.
I'm DEFINITELY paying attention!
I picked up a Matchbox Lesney Lamborghini Countach a few weeks ago at a charity shop (also, a no-name brand of a Lamborghini Countach that I recoloured in a solid blue and the interior chromed. The windscreen was gone and the wheels rusty, but with a little TLC...)
Joey said he thought the car turned out beautifully. I think the interior and new wheels added a ton of pop to the finished product.
Thanks again for your excellent work!
Love the gold wheels on yellow, thats my dream a fly yellow countach with gold wheels. Another job well done!!
Beautiful Lambo and i like those golden wheels with that nice yellow paint job. 😀
I really like the body style of these early Countach models, it's just so simple and beautiful, but later ones with crazy wings and angles looks good too.
Beauty as always Rob. I love seeing how you always add just enough detail work .
Gorgeous job as always Rob
I think the yellow with the gold spokes works nicely together.
I've seen exactly one Lamborghini Countach. It was at a car show in a local mall back in the early '80s.
It was a really deep blue. I don't know if that was a typical color or not.
Nice job...the gold goes with yellow just fine.
Great job Rob.
Looks great. Wheels go well with the yellow. Nice work
This came out incredible.
Gotta agree with everyone else, yellow suits this car perfectly
Excellent work 👏🏻 love this 😍
Gold wheels look great against yellow nice job
Nice work especially on the interior. Great detailing
I love what you did with the interior. I think some black on the body would have set it off. Maybe the side vents? All in all a nice job!
Another nice one. The original Lamborghini Countach Periscopio. Matchbox did a yellow one with red windows too. :-)
P.s. I've been one of your longest subs lol I've been watching your channel grow since the begining and you've done better each time I hope you reach the 50k milestone you are a great person to watch here's to reaching the high plateau you can
Rob it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Phenomenal job. Those gold wheels make it really pop.
Great choice of rims for this color car looks great
She looks FANTASTIC!!.. A FABULOUS transformation!!... All ready for The Cannonball Run!!
Don't i know you from somewhere??🤔🤣🤣
Maybe.. Think the Shieks Rolls Royce!!
That's turned out amazing.
Proper colour, love it!
Well done!!! Nice color, my loved Diamond Spokes, just perfect!
Nice job on the details on this as well as the aftermarket wheels...
looks sweet the gold wheels look good with the yellow
So satisfying watching your videos
Lamborghinis are known to be fast :)
I also have a few cars with "kid flare" in my collection of cars to restore or customize. But there are a few that I like the "kid flare." You can tell that the previous owner loved these little cars.
I have a Ford GT40 that I will be publishing a video this coming week on that show signs of play. The wheels wore a fairly deep groove in the front underside of the hood.
Thank you for your great videos and your inspiration!
Great work! The gold wheels go well with the paint job.
Awesome job it turned out fantastic 👍👍😊
Nice restoration and paint job 👌
Looks nice, Rob 🏁
Love the color and the wheels.
Great job on the Lamborghini Countach
Yellow was a perfect choice! The gold wheels look good with the paint.
Very nice looking car. Great restore.
Great job. Love the rims.
Excellent work! I have the same car , it's in good shape, but I'd love to paint it up like you did. Well done!
They fit the car really well
Looks awesome I really like the wheels.
Unusual colour choice, quite suits it though and it's a change from red.👍
👍🏻👍🏻 Looks great!
ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS:)
Excellent job matey 👍👍
Jaguars should be green, Ferraris should be red and Lamborghinis should be yellow. Great work Rob.
Agreed
This is one of the few Matchbox cars that are near and dear to my heart, when I was a kid I fell in love with the red and black paint scheme. But, the original Countach prototype was yellow, almost that same color. I don't remember what kind of wheels the prototype had, but those gold spokes look stunning. Those rear wheel arches are proper, and finally on the prototype the taillights were solid red panels. Not much you could do there unless you went way above and beyond to modify the car. That interior looks really futuristic which is what Bertone was going for when they designed the Countach. All in all I would say this is a proper use of your talents and an excellent model.
Great job. I am restoring one but in green collour. Have a nice day and take care about yourself
Looks good. Like the wheels.
Its a great look with the wheels
Nice job my friend
Thank you sir. Very Nice!
Look good in yellow and the wheels are good with the yellow I like it
Looks great Rob , yeah those gold wheels really set that yellow off on the Lamborgini Countach 💛👍
Hi Rob, very nicely done. 👍😄
Hey Rob good gob I like the idea of a yellow limbo I have an original one from the 70s in my collection it's yellow with red windows and a chroma interior love it😁 keep the great work 👍👍👍
Looks great, am going through a yellow phase on most of my restos!
surely one of thoe most extreme designs of the 70's. can't think of anyone who doesn't at least admire the design. :) such yellow, love the wheels, too. :D
Cool Rob 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yup Yup another awesome one.
I like the look of that one .
digging the gold wheels
Very nice Rob. I want one
Nice job 👍
Very nice interesting color.
Wow factor 10 + more than nice job Regards Robert from Blackwood South Australia 👍 👍 😎
I love your videos! ♥
Hello from Chicago! I really like your videos and I'm glad to see these cool cars getting restored. I love matchbox cars and had/have a ton of them. If I may make a suggestion? Can you restore a Matchbox Adventure 2000 set? Those were my favorite Matchbox vehicles and it would be cool to see a restoration on them! Cheers and thanks for the videos!
73 fantastic year for me because I was born that year :)
Great job BTW
It looks nice! The Lamborghini Countach was the car that made way for todays Lamborghinis like the Diablo, Murciélago, Gallardo and Aventador.
Nice job
I think I'll try one of these!
Gorgeous. Interesting that you said this was based on the prototype Countach, as the prototype was painted the same shade of yellow you did it in today.
Great job mate, now we need to take our Lambos for a race
🏎️🏎️
very cool
