I agree with you about Colorado. They have come a long way, and in a short time. The best part of the bowl game for a BYU fan like me, was that it showed where our roster is. Colorado was said to have the best athletes. They were picked to win. The reality was that with the exception of Hunter, BYU was better across the board. The team proved it on Saturday. We are getting closer every year to having a squad that will contend for the conference. Go Cougars!
Coming from the apparently not so whack 12 we never rooted for the conference teams to win…. Then we met Texas fans…. Go big 12 🔱🆙
exactly
Go Big12. EMAW
And when Big 12 wins the CFP, “college football was just way down this year.”
I can't leave before saying,,, This was just a sneak peak into next year and many years to come! Happy New Year's everyone!!!
The Big12 is the only "old school" conference left. SEC and B1G have become NFL Lite. What the others think means nothing for true Big12 fans. Trust me, those of us who remember what college football used to be didn't really care what other conferences did. What mattered were conference games. Remember that Grant Teaff was on the verge of being fired from Baylor until he beat Texas for the first time since the Great War.
Big 12 football is going to be so much fun next year. BYU, Baylor, and Kansas State will be loaded with returning playmakers. Utah, TCU, and Oklahoma State are storied programs with alot of pride and will absolutely bounce back.
I don’t think ASU will slide that far back either. Colorado may take a step back but should still be good. ISU returns most everyone. Tech is rocking the portal better than anyone. Will be another deep parity-driven season for sure!
Great show!!
KState, TCU, Iowa State, and BYU repped the B12 well. Time for Baylor and Arizona State to close strong to take down blue chips LSU and Texas! What a great time to be a Baylor/B12 fan! #Sicem
Big 12 just needs to keep their noses to the grindstone and never worry what the popular table in the lunchroom says.
This is a waste of time. Nationally they will say whatever they need to say to hold onto their preconceived narratives.
Arizona St basically has to win out. The national reputation take less of a hit the further they go, but if they lose bad, all wins are forgotten. Just the way it is.
Big XII on the rise
I think Iowa State had more people out because of injuries & opt-outs than Miami.
sure did.
Not going to talk about Kansas state
The Big 12 is 4-3. Kind of mediocre.
Could easily have been 5-2 if they hadn’t made BYU and CU play each other. Let’s see how it finishes out this week. WVU had no coach and Tech had no OC, DC, QB or RB. Not exactly shameful losses there
@@BracketCat CU wouldn't have beaten anyone with the way they played. Could just as easily be 3-5 with K State and Iowa State surviving. Not a bad bowl season, but not great either.
NO.
The only people impressed with those teams, are the fans of those teams.
Remember.TCU should have been a reality check that belongs, or deserves is ridiculous.
11 wins in big12, or ACC, is not useful info to compare nationally.
Colorado is average at best
@@ronbrock738 does TCU beating Michigan in the semi-finals count?
@Big12Insiders
Michigan was a year away.
No team on that stage should be dragged like that.
I think that FSU, at full strength , would have likely been embarrassed had they played. Also may have been excluded due to the ghost of TCU.
My school has decided to go all in for football with the Belichick and max NIL. Mack Brown couldn't do it with 3 straight top 11 recruiting classes and 2 NFL QBs. Players names are a blur,as going in the out door with the portal.
I think CFB has lost it's collective mind. Sad.
@Big12Insiders
Wow, I forgot because the bloodletting in the finals was a reality check.
I remember the sad picture of their fans holding their hand into some clawlike thing, while the faces displayed fear and agony.
Even a blind chicken finds a kernel of corn every now and then.
@ronbrock738 That's part of the problem. Anything good is automatically a fluke.
@Big12Insiders
When UGA did a number on Michigan, they highlighted the disparity of 5 star players . UGA had 2x Michigan's
Those players are the ones opting out of the games not playing for a championship. Want to beat Alabama or Georgia
Catch them in a bowl other than playoff
