    Good playing! A really good second serve will jump your game tremendously. Good stuff ✊🏽

      Thanks! And I agree! I can hit a harder second serve if I need to but I didn’t really feel threatened by him to crush a ball off a weak 2nd serve so I played it safe and just rolled in my 2nds. If someone is gonna take advantage of my 2nd then I’ll flick my wrist through it a little harder but I didn’t want to make any silly service mistakes against someone I didn’t think would take advantage of it. I’ll risk a little more as I’m forced too. But overall my second serve nerves are a real thing 😆

      I was actually wondering the same thing, why change up your service motion so much? I'm not questioning the outcome since the ball is in play, lol, but I know personally I'd do more harm than good to myself changing up so dramatically, especially since your first serve motion is so good! But alas, I've been told my first serve is actually a decent second serve, so what the hell do I know. I got to find a first serve somewhere :D

    Nice playing! Work on the second serve as others have said. If you can figure out a topspin forehands on returns....you'll be in great shape!!! Those slices are the only reason he was able to get you on some points on the serve and volley.

    To be honest I wasn’t very impressed up until that 4-1 game. I was genuinely getting hyped when I saw those 2 huge serves and the winner forehand all consecutively

      Thank you! His choppy game made it tough to find much of a rhythm in the beginning! I realized I was going to have to create it and I was able to finally start making opportunities for myself and not have to rely solely on his errors. I appreciate you for watching!

    Overall you have a very athletic and powerful game. A real second serve will lift you right up to the next level. And some of your shot selections didn't make any sense to me.

      Haha I am an emotional player myself on the court so I understood where he was coming from. I probably would’ve tried to have more self motivating emotion rather than being frustrated but yeah I get it haha

    ravi is definitely talented regardless of the result. better attitude would help him a ton

    • @unlimitedtennis
      @unlimitedtennis  Рік тому

      I agree haha that kind of attitude I feed off of. I play with a lot of energy so if you have negative energy on the other side of the net that only helps me. But he’s not bad. I think he just needs to be more patient with what he comes up to net on. Majority of my points I didn’t really show because there wasn’t much too it. I just hit the ball low and he volleyed it into the net with him not the being in the greatest position. It’s not that he can’t volley he demonstrated some great volleys but he was just having to make tough volleys a lot because he was lacking patience. Not a bad player. I can see his play style working against certain play styles

  • @bobanmihajlov338
    @bobanmihajlov338 Рік тому +4

    He’s a net rusher but he’s not good at closing the net. 90% of his volleys are around his feet and whenever he pulls you off the court he stands too far back to put the ball away.
    He also has a bad attitude which is so easy to play against.

    • @unlimitedtennis
      @unlimitedtennis  Рік тому

      I agree ☝🏻 if you’re gonna take the net play it tight, force me to have to lob or go for the tougher angle. My ground strokes were not anything impressive. I felt like I was struggling to get ahold of anything the entire match. I gained a little more confidence with my forehand going into the 2nd set after winning the first and because of the way he was acting lol. But I didn’t really need any impressive shots because like you said, he was settling for lower volleys instead of closing the net and meeting them at a higher peak

    • @chubun6631
      @chubun6631 Рік тому

      His volleys were probably effective against a slower opponent, but you are very fast on your feet, 7:00 for example. He'll need to improve the pace and especially the placement of his first volley to have a chance against you. It's kind of a rule of thumb for a serve volleyer, if your opponent can comfortably return your first serve, you may as well pack up and leave.

  • @IndranilMitra07

    Reason #3541 it is entirely valid to hit right at the net rusher. Few hard forehands to the chest, he'll adjust shot selection.
