I’m personally a big fan of Pacheco because McKinnon is gone. And if we look how the season ended for Pacheco when he was getting close to or at the 70% snap count, he was able to score 20 PPR points easily. It’s never a for sure thing, but I do think Pacheco is in line for a big season if he stays healthy. My roster is entirely different from the one I drafted originally two years ago. But what truly built this juggernaut was Breece Hall tearing his ACL right after I traded CMC for him in the first year of this dynasty league’s existence (right as Breece Hall was breaking out). I decided that I was going to tank hard for Bijan the rest of the season and load up on 1st round draft pick. I was in 2nd to last place the entire rest of the season and then faced the guy in last place to determine who would get to draft Bijan. Needless to say, I lost our matchup and won Bijan. Then I flipped the 2023 1.06 + 2023 1.09 + 2023 2.03 for Jamarr Chase and drafted Anthony Richardson at 2.01 in our rookie draft that year. I won’t get into the rest but I truly turned a lemon into lemonade with this one.
Thank you, good analysis and insights. Absolutely love your Walker, Brooks, and Spears takes. Curious about the James Cook love though. He lacks GL size and that's not fixable (just 4 rush TDs across 2 seasons). If anyone cuts into Allen's RuTD's it's more likely Ray Davis. Cook pushed 1600 yards last year, likely his yardage ceiling, and still only finished RB17 in PPG. I think he's basically Rachaad White but with a little less opportunity. Cook is reluctantly my RB16 and undraftable at his ADP.
Josh Jacobs is still on my radar, and so is the guy, Ford, from the Browns. Also don't forget about D. Swift in Chicago, he could move up into the top 12 this year for sure in Bears offense. Don't forget about OG, Alvin Kamara either. He is certainly a great weekly flex option if not #2. Also, the rookie in Arizona, Trey Benson is someone to stock on the bench.

While I'm painfully aware of Eckler's bust last year (as he was by R.1 pick), I do think he's shockingly low on draft boards and could be a bounce-back steal. His team is likely to lean on RB usage with a rookie QB and utilize his receiving skills out of the backfield. Sure, he has split carries, but at this point most teams do. I say this then comparing him to Josh Jacobs... another bust from last year who is also on a new team but Packers offense is much more balanced, maybe leaning pass heavy compared to Washington. Obviously, Packers will likely have a better overall offense, sure, but I just don't see huge differences between the players or their skillsets or situations that would limit either so much more than the other, yet we see Jacobs going considerably higher than Eckler to the tune of 2-3 rounds earlier at times.
I took breece and bijan at the 1/2 turn in superflex dynasty TE Prem. 3/4 turn took Kincaid and McBride. Then brooks in the fifth. We ain’t never scared! Who’s needs qbs in a SF. 😂😂😂 lol
I'm pretty neutral on it. I'll take him if I really need an RB or I think he's the best player on the board but there's a lot of WR/QB/TE I love in that range.
This is off topic but what do you think the best stacks are for how the draft adp falls this year? Example falcons Bijan rd 1 London rd 2 Pitts and/or Cousins late
I didn't say Bijon lacked talent. I'd even argue he's the most talented RB in the league and it's a shame he's in a timeshare. I argued that picking him in the 1st round is a mistake. Even with those projections.. he would averaged 16.8 points which would be slightly ahead of where Etienne was last year. What I'm saying is where you are picking him you could get one of the 4 best WRs or one of the two better RBs (CMC and Hall) and draft a Pacheco or Henry or James Conner later and get more bang for your buck. Lamb, Hill, ARSB and JJ averaged over 20 points a game last year putting them an average of 6 points ahead of the 15th best WR (Adams, Aiyuk, Pittman). Bijan getting 16.8 points only scores 1.5-2 points more than the previously mentioned RBs. A net of +4 if you pick a WR first and a RB second.
Also playing with fire with James Cook. He is talented for sure but he has a lot of drops and fumbles (and has continued in camp). I wouldn't be surprised if Ray Davis becomes their goal line back and he's had a very good training camp. I'd put him in as a late sleeper but I agree with the Bills Offense.... too much is made about Diggs and Gabe Davis wasn't great.... my guess is Thomas becomes Jags #2 WR very quickly
@@RonStewart_ The last 3 years 2 RBs a year have averaged 20 points a game and played more than 12 games per year. Those 6, 2 were CMC, 2 were Ekeler, 1 was JT, 1 was Kyren Williams last year. Ekeler had the lowest time share (less than 60) but averaged 100 catches and averaged 19 TDs (21-22). The forecast is just too high for Bijan but I guess we'll see.
@mrd2500 19.9 on Yahoo. 2 weeks out from most drafts and after enough videos saying to grab him are watched enough, those that took a WR in the 1st will jump all over him in the 2nd!
I can’t get on the Achane train. I get all the data etc.. he’s just too small. And if Mostert stays healthy I think it’s a 60/40 at best 50/50. Can’t justify where he’s going imo.
Would anyone here move Mark Andrews for James Cook? I have CMC and Mixon at RB but not a ton of depth. A dude threw Cook + Conklin for Andrews at me and I’m super tempted because Cook could be a PPR monster.
@@seanbanks9062do you have flex spot and that’s where wanting to put cook? Cause andrews to C is a big drop off , Do u have another TE? If not I stay put personally
I used Spears last year, and he was overshadowed by Henry, who was a bust, btw. Unless Henry is hurt or traded, it's a pass for me. I'd pick Mims Jr. as a breakout, hoping Williams is hurt.
As a Bills fan I don't trust Cook when the balls goes his way, seems like you can count on a big drop that cost us points every few games. Cook isn't getting GL runs, he never has never will. Ray will this year if it isn't Josh.
Brooks is going way too early for an injured player. Panthers offense is not that good. And he probably doesn’t get going until week 10. I’m not waiting until week 10 for a player and drafting him in the top 10 rounds.

The absolute disrespect to the boi is diabolical work. I appreciate the work you do Ron, never wrong just early

I went
1st round: Lamb
2nd: Olave
3rd: Hurts
4th: Cook
5th: Walker
6th: Kincaid
7th: Amari Cooper
8th: Jayden Reed
9th: Richardson
10th: Javonte Williams
11th: Ladd McConkey
12th: Charbonnet
13th: Brian Thomas Jr.
Olave is good but I don’t trust Carr… other than him with the 2nd pick, I like your team

@@justdreaming6517 how so?
Brooks ACL injury is why I’m not drafting him. I don’t think he breaks out until late in the season. If you don’t have a deep bench, thats a dead roster spot
IR spot is all you need ✅
Hey Ron watched the Hero RB video recently - in terms of drafting that elite qb and or te would you punt filling that 4th WR slot if you could get an elite qb and te? My example had hurts and 3 wr drafted and instead of taking pitts filled that 2nd flex spot - thanks!
You take the QB. Personally, I still think TE is fools gold. There ain't no Gates.
@@xelim3171 I already had drafted hurts - so my situation was drafting pitts or Godwin as my WR 4
Starting this video with top 5 overall pick Bijan Robinson is WILD 😂😂
Big on James Cook
Take into account that Robinson starts season vs Steelers rush defense.
So are you still advocating to avoid the dead zone or is there still a dead zone with a few exceptions?
I got Pacheco and Nixon hopefully they produce haha
What do you guys think? 10 team .5 ppr

Clicked for some insight and the first recommendation is the draft's RB2 and overall #5 ADP. 😂 And then expecting to snag KW3 in the 5th round? 💀
Gibbs, Henry, or Achane?
Tons of hype on Brooks but I can’t get there on a rookie rb coming off an ACL tear on the Panthers
Lot of people thought the same about Hall coming back from his tear.
@@daniel-ym9unhall was a sophomore and already showed he could do it, Brooks is a rookie
My concern would be Daniels is less likely to dump it off, and that's the only area I see Ekeler paying off this year.
Tyler is a big back...Bijan makes a lot of dough...Atlanta isn't going to overwork the first rounder...they want many years out of him.
I took breece and bijan at the 1/2 turn in superflex dynasty TE Prem. 3/4 turn took Kincaid and McBride. Then brooks in the fifth. We ain’t never scared! Who’s needs qbs in a SF. 😂😂😂 lol
Should I listen to the expert telling me to draft James Cook or the expert telling me to let my idiot league mates draft James Cook
I'm pretty neutral on it. I'll take him if I really need an RB or I think he's the best player on the board but there's a lot of WR/QB/TE I love in that range.
Would that be nick?
Ended up with zero shares of Cook and I've cooled on him.
Would you rather keep puca nacua and draft breece or bijan 3rd overall or keep achane and draft breece or bijan
Wow you reached really far for these rbs. We all are trying to get all these rbs. 😂😂
This is off topic but what do you think the best stacks are for how the draft adp falls this year? Example falcons
Bijan rd 1
London rd 2
Pitts and/or Cousins late
Rams/dolphins/lions stacks could be nice.
Tyreek
Achane
Tua
For example
Cook is just starting to cook 🤙
Would you trade away
Najee Harris
Chase brown
Jordan Addison

Ken walker
K. Allen ?

Those projections are using 14 games putting him at 20+ PPG
I agree with all except Brooks and Cook
Cooks is a fumbler. They drafted a 24 year old rookie. He will lose his job to ray.
Who cares what you think?
@@chevy4x466 exactly why I don’t like him and brooks is injured lol

Hard to be able to predict that Pacheco will be available at the turn. Like your confidence though 😂
@@TaravistaVelvetSmoov is ADP is 28.7 why wouldn’t he
@mrd2500 19.9 on Yahoo. 2 weeks out from most drafts and after enough videos saying to grab him are watched enough, those that took a WR in the 1st will jump all over him in the 2nd!
U should draft a rb at 1.1.
@@TaravistaVelvetSmoov Ah we use Sleeper it’s a different board
Pacheco or Achane Rd 2 assuming first pick is best receiver there???
Pacheco imo but achane has more upside just way more risky since mostert is still there and he’s injury prone
@@JedScedI'd say too early to say he's injury prone.
Blake Corum for your bench
I can’t get on the Achane train. I get all the data etc.. he’s just too small. And if Mostert stays healthy I think it’s a 60/40 at best 50/50. Can’t justify where he’s going imo.
I think it’ll be Bijan’s backfield. They are in win now mode. I have the 6th pick and am praying he falls to me.
walker in the 5th? His adp is definitely not in the 5th. So I guess you're right by saying smash in the 5th lol.
Would anyone here move Mark Andrews for James Cook? I have CMC and Mixon at RB but not a ton of depth. A dude threw Cook + Conklin for Andrews at me and I’m super tempted because Cook could be a PPR monster.
No not unless you have another elite te
@@Joe-ey2lp I don’t yet, would have to wheel and deal for that. Would you do Drake London for James Cook and Chris Godwin?

I used Spears last year, and he was overshadowed by Henry, who was a bust, btw. Unless Henry is hurt or traded, it's a pass for me. I'd pick Mims Jr. as a breakout, hoping Williams is hurt.
Henry signed with the ravens…

Josh Jacobs and Rhamondre Stevenson.

As a Bills fan I don't trust Cook when the balls goes his way, seems like you can count on a big drop that cost us points every few games. Cook isn't getting GL runs, he never has never will. Ray will this year if it isn't Josh.
Never has...you make it sound like hes been there a decade
Brooks is out for at least 4 first games maybe more not worth the risk unless drafted in the scrub part of the draft
Derrick Henry or James coo??? Very important
Henry
Walker is going to explode ~!
James Cook going mid-4th is wild lmao he’s going late 2nd-mid 3rd in leagues that aren’t filled with dummies lol

Mid-4th round... in an eight team league.
Ron is an underdog affiliate. Their rankings are different from redraft home leagues.
That might be a little strong.
Cook is fumbling in practice. Yah I rather take the rookie behind him
Brooks is going way too early for an injured player. Panthers offense is not that good. And he probably doesn’t get going until week 10. I’m not waiting until week 10 for a player and drafting him in the top 10 rounds.
You have to grab bijan before he breaks out? Haha. Theres people drafting him first overall in some leagues. What do you mean draft him before he breaks out? How?
Could have the 1.01 or 1.02 and choose to draft Bijan over CMC Hall or one of the big WRs?
