Hey Darryl, love the channel. Have you thought about the new B.C. RICH Mockingbird? Or maybe the Dean from Hell ML that Dime Bag used as his #1. Not the exact but a copy I mean.
I guess opinions on looks will always be subjective. I think your SG doesn't look agressive but looks very classy. Like a black tie event instrument. The barbarian does look agressive. Love the videos. All are entertaining and educational!
You should review the Amarok-6 from Harley Benton. Neck thru body, Grover locking, carved body with quilted maple veneer top, EMG hot 70's, Graphtech nut, and stainless steel frets for $456.
heads up UA-cam has the ability to add segments into the video bar at the bottom of the video you can name instead of doing this now. It's called video Chapters. I've seen other channels use them, and they look much nicer. Not sure how to set them up though.
Clearly, a very well made guitar that captures the vibe they were going for. Thanks for including the clean tones in the demo. I was surprised how good they sounded. I don't think I could ever get enough tattoos to even pick up that guitar, but I'm sure it would be fun.
Well with how far EMG has come I would have to agree that EMG can have a great clean tone. Not to mention Metallica’s rhythm guitarist uses his EMG pickups in his clean songs. So your not that crazy.
Yeah, I remember picking up one at GC when they first came out and the wood felt cheap, the frets were sharp and everything felt cheap. Good see Schecter right the ship
I love my Barbarian, (raw top psycho bullseye), they definitely live up to their name. As soon as you pick one up you can tell it's built to handle seriously aggressive playing and it really sounds and feels the best when you are lacing into it.
Online looks like Wylde Audio is distributed through Schecter - looking at the crafted in South Korea on the headstock looks exactly like my Schecter E1 Evil Twin. No surprise the fretwork is amazing. Also great use of UHF at the end of the video. One of my favorite movies from the 80s!
@@roadrunnerplaying Not new though, been making guitars forever - Ovations, Alvarez's; Samick makes the most guitars in the world - almost half of them in fact under hundreds of brand names. 🎸
Beautiful axe, and I do love the clean tones from the EMG's as well, but I have to say - there was a shocking lack of pinch harmonics in your demo, less than 4/s is sacrilege for ZW style. Plus you should have multi-layered harmonized your vocals throughout your video 😉
Thanks to you I'm learning about guitars I would have never known existed, let alone the in depth review you always provide...still waiting to see you play a Charvel. I'm convinced the necks on the San Dimas alone would hook you!
This is why I come to your channel, I know you're not a big metal guy, And sometimes I just want to hear some clean lead tones and an honest opinion. Thank You
I love my EMG 81/85 combo, I don`t play a lot of metal (it`s nice to have the tonal option), I find the pickups are great for clean, the sustain and quietness really add some depth, stomp on the high gain and BOOM! Pretty obvious why this pickup combo are a benchmark. Another great video!
Hahaha, when I saw the title and the pic I said, " Wylde Audio". Only ZW could make something that kickass. The neck is nice, love the satin vs a glossy painted one. The wood is beautiful too, and you said it's pretty lightweight. Too expensive for me right now, but I like it. Thanks DB. 😁

Would like to see you do a Jackson, maybe a soloist or even go the cheap route with an JS-22. Just never seen you go the Jackson route and I love their necks.
I love the body shape, it looks like it wants to kill something for fun. I find the orange mahogany does not fit with the burl though. Would have gone with black or maybe even a natural color if it was a better fit. I already have an SG and a guitar with EMG ZW pickups so I can't justify buying this one, but I'll definitely look at their collection.

I would love to see some demos of Cort guitars. Most of the UA-cam Gear channels do not talk about that brand. But as I work in a musical instrument store in an Asian country, I have played some of their guitars and I have to say, they are really good for the money, especially the Acoustic guitars. And the reason is, as most people do not know, they make guitars for many renowned guitar brands.
I would’ve used the opening riff to Smothered by Spineshank to demo how well it handles low drop tunings being that the song is played in Drop A#, and how much control the guitar has overall because Smothered can be very squirrely at times because of the precision required to play the riff cleanly, i use that riff alot when trying out guitars at GC, I’m a Metalcore/Nu Metal/Grunge etc. style player and i love a nice riff, another great one to use is Dig from Mudvayne, this one really stretches those pickups past their limits, if a guitar can handle Dig with the tone Mudvayne uses, those are some solid electronics, that song is very aggressive and really shows just how versatile the guitar you’re testing is, really seperates the boys from the men, a Fender Strat for example, fantastic instrument, not very versatile, Schecter Damien, fantastic instrument, very versatile, i was actually shocked to see that a Gibson LP can handle Dig very well, i got the idea because in the music video, Greg uses a Gibson Gothic Morte LP, So why not see what a regular LP can do, i slapped some EBMM Mammoth slinky’s on there because of the short scale length, put it in Drop B, and it handled great, I’m not a Les Paul guy at all, but i was very pleased!
Hi Darrell, Great demo 👍👍👍. I really like the Barbarian, the finish, particularly the frets, look nicely finished, great Camera work. 👍. Take care, Melbourne, Australia.
Hi Darrell, I'm a fan from the Philippines. I enjoy all the brands and gear you show in your channel. Very informative man. I would love to see more EBMM guitars in your future demos too. More power maaan.
The modified SG is pretty to be sure but I prefer the cleaner tones than the muddy distortion that is not pleasing to the ear - far as I'm concerned. The Ebony neck is beautiful I must admit.

I’m a strong believer that all 1000+ guitars should have locking tuners or a locking nut
Strap button should be on the horn neck dive is always due to putting it on back of neck pocket
Hi Darrell, Great demo 👍👍👍.
I really like the Barbarian, the finish, particularly the frets, look nicely finished, great Camera work. 👍.
Take care,

Hi Darrell, I'm a fan from the Philippines. I enjoy all the brands and gear you show in your channel. Very informative man. I would love to see more EBMM guitars in your future demos too. More power maaan.
Hey darrell. Nice vid. Next can you check out brands like esp, prs, bc rich, manson. Theyre definitely interesting
The modified SG is pretty to be sure but I prefer the cleaner tones than the muddy distortion that is not pleasing to the ear - far as I'm concerned. The Ebony neck is beautiful I must admit.
Really enjoying the 'Out Of Your Comfort Zone' series!!!
Would love to see the Darrell Braun take on Rickenbacker.
Guitar looks really sick!
The ESP/LTD Viper & this model looks wild & cooler than the Gibson SG 😊
Hard to beat that Dual Rec!
The staining on the body/neck joint is the same on my Wylde guitar. It isn't a mistake - they are doing it that way on purpose.
I think that the: Zemaitis C24MF NT, would be interesting, a brand, unknown by many, but that I think deserves more diffusion, regards.
That axe is sickening, man i like it you picked a great vid . Lol TroyFrost/Troyster 😎cool riffs cool 🎸🤘🤘🤘
