  • It's really important to teach them the "right" places to scratch. Scratching on furniture can set them up for an unsuccessful adoption so we start working with them immediately. Links below for the Scratching toy we use here.

In my last full year of fostering, I was too busy to upload all of my videos to my UA-cam channel. So I have a ton of never before seen videos that I decided to find & upload. This one is from February 2019.
I hope you guys enjoy seeing some new kitten vids even though they aren't currently in our care ❤

    Before Commenting, Please Note
*These kitties are NOT ours. We foster through our local shelter. The cats come into the shelter as strays or owner surrenders.
*ALL cats are vaccinated, spayed and neutered before the shelter allows them to be adopted
*Yes, these kittens are adorable but not all of them are lucky enough to make it into foster care for the chance to survive. PLEASE Spay & Neuter your pets!
*YES, their bedding is changed and litter boxes are scooped throughout the day. Sometimes I clean AFTER a video so I can catch something they are doing on camera.
*The shelter covers all healthcare but we pay for all other fostering costs out of our own pocket. These costs include food, litter, bedding, toys, gas to drive to & from the shelter, etc.
*Some Amazon links I post are referral links. Any small amount earned goes directly toward buying kitten supplies.
*Yes, we have a Wish List on Amazon & the link is above!

Kimberly, I'm so sorry for your loss ❤🙏🏻 You can start with some phone calls to your local shelters and rescues. Or check their websites. A lot of places have info and applications available on their sites. Depending on the program it could be as simple as signing up and picking up the animals or as involved as doing an interview process, background check and training/classes before you can start fostering. Your shelter will let you know what to expect. If your disability makes it hard for your to show up at the shelter for any part of this, don't be afraid to let them know about your restrictions and see if they can accommodate you. It's actually really common for people with disabilities to foster so don't let it hold you back. Be sure to ask about your responsibilities so you are prepared. Some shelters cover your food & litter and some don't. If you have any questions feel free to email me at FosterTheFelines@hotmail.com ❤❤

Kimberly, I just re-read your comment and I think I misunderstood. If you meant that you want to adopt from someone ELSE who is fostering, contact your shelters and see if any of their foster families have social media accounts for their kittens. A lot of us do these days as its an EXCELLENT way for adopters to get to know their future baby and helps us match people for the most successful adoptions! You can follow their posts until adoption day, it's amazing ❤
