The setter difference is so huge in Trentino's favor. Look at how slow Travica moves in several of these clips. Giannelli is an absolute top tier setter, while Travica, obviously a decent setter, is far from it.
@@ghendao I disagree for the level of the Italian League he is a weak setter and of the four setters between Zaksa, Zenit, Trentino, and Perugia he is by a large margin the weakest setter. Although Gianelli is the best setter out of the four and in my opinion the 3rd or 4th best setter in the world so it is hard to compete with him.
@Emilio Hammar I don't know why they don't sub someone else to serve instead of Travica.. His serve is SO weak that pretty much his every serve is always a perfect pass.
Age of the players on both sides of the net played a key role in the Trentino's victory. Hopefully, pandemic won't eliminate any player from the finals, and fans will continue to enjoy watching the beauty of sport - 2 teams that weren't the main favorites for the finals.
Let's prepare popcorn and Cola for Exciting Final. but I am so sad that Perugia Didn't reach to final because There is playing Leon(My favourite volleyballer)
Well for all of you who are dissing Travica you must consider that he is - for the professional sport - little bit old, he is 34 yo if i am right and it is obvious that Gianneli who is much younger would be faster than him..
Of you bicome less good go in Turkish League, Germania, not in top 3 best in the world with Lube and Sada , Perugia from second Place with travica fall in 8 or 9 Place meibi ithen top two Japan Championship are beter
Porque en el primero juego eles ganaran 3-0 / 3-1(no me recuerdo). Perugia tenia que gane 3-0 / 3-1 para que jugar el golden set (15 puntos)! Lo siento mi español es horríble jajaja soy🇫🇷
Trento won the first match at home 3:0, the only way Perugia could've made it to the final was either to win 3:0 or 3:1 at home and then win the Golden Set. They lost two sets therefore Trento was guaranteed to advance after they made their second set win.
because trento won the first match 3-0(3 points). perugia won the second 3-2 (2 points). perugia had to win 3-0 and then win the golden set to go in the final, while trento needed only 2 sets to go in the final.
@Emilio Hammar Atanasijevic is more than decent! He just had a bad year, full of injuries and completely out of form. Before this season, he was a top-10 opposite in the world.
@Emilio Hammar Yeah, exactly what i wrote. How are they supposed to expect it at the start of the season though? Get my point? They had a good opposite(more than good) on paper. They just got unlucky in Perugia and so did Atanasijevic, who is now struggling.
I’m really happy for Lucarelli
Content pour Trentino.. Nimir...👏👏👍👍😊😊

Saluti dalla Polonia, ZAKSA ;)

Zaksa is going to win champions league
If Nimir, Giannelli and Lucarelli get injured...
Nope
Will be interesting to see the insights Grbic will have on serbian middle blockers of other team. :)

I need to know.. why did leon leave Zenit Kazan? I think Zenit has more money, got better players. So why?
Maybe he didn't like the Russian competition
@JohnTwenty
1. More money.
2. Different league. Italian league is more technical and faster than russian league and Leon wanted improving himself.
Because if You are not Mikhajlov, You dont want to live in Kazan for dozen of years.
Because living in Italy is better than living in Russia

travica is very slow
Many mistakes by Perugia in the fourth set.
Trentino - ZAKSA 3-2
Zaksa to wygra kurwa
