Not a bad idea, but it also relies on the room temperature. If the room is very cold it will keep on going longer than usual. If it's a warm day it will stop too early
@@scruddo1644 we could engineer a mechanical temperature sensor that physically changes the dimensions of the engine based on air temperature to solve that… 🤔
How about a thermomentar that mesures the temp auf the water and a trigger is conectet with the thermomentar so when it Hits a certen temp its going to activate little brakes couse the engine doesnt produce much tork small brakes are good that Stop it when it Hits this temp sorry for Bad grammar i am a kid that is Not from England or Amerika
It wont be enough to power a heavy car. So idk if it would work so well. And the world woult be in absolute debt.. Also even a little kart cant be moved...
I would connect this to a motor (dynamo) then to a vampire circuit (multiple) then to heating Idk about the over heraing but idk if this will work either
A desk toy.. stirling engines are clean and require very low maintenance, but produce a very small amount of torque, so I don't think they'll get very practical
You could tune one of these so it stops when the tea is at perfect drinking temperature.

If everyone had one of these engines hooked up to storage batteries, we could solve the world's energy crisis by drinking coffee
That will raise coffee price and will be a problem to me, I am a coffee addict :)
@@AMJEngineeringthat would lower it, so they would get more energy
@@GWR82 it would raise it as it would become a necessity instead of a pleasure

I have one that I focused a beam of sunlight on and sat it in a metal can of cold water .
It ran great for a surprisingly long time.
this is why we need bring back old inventions
Why spend money on fuel? But u have Stirling engines?

I love this so much! It's so clock punk!! :)
this cools down the tea.
no it just utilizes the steam that rises off of the tea instead of it entering the room
But, it is a fun way to cool down tea that is too hot.
@@spencr.doesn’t have to be steam just heat, but it actually keeps it warm longer than no lid

I wonder how does it work here?
這個可以利用作煲的mixing!同意嗎?🌐
What can you do with it? 🤔
You can make a big one and generate power
But the big ones may need fire to work efficiently
Why would you ask that question? It's used to show how a Sterling Engine works
A desk toy.. stirling engines are clean and require very low maintenance, but produce a very small amount of torque, so I don't think they'll get very practical
No power
How long does it go for?
Depends on the temperature.
As long there is temperature difference
No power in this😢
Where can I get one?
Amazon
Stirling kit sells them I believe it's called a low temperature Stirling engine
