Since Trump appeared on the political scene, everything has gone downhill. I am German and I just can't understand the evil universe the republicans live in. Clarence Thomas gave Cannon the reason/excuse she needed. No other court, no other judge has ever ruled in favor on this erroneous argument.

I can't help thinking there was connivance of some sort among trump's lawyers, Cannon, and Clarence Thomas (and the rest of the SCOTUS who essentially made the presidency a kingship). Also, the Federalist Society has its fingerprints all over this. Just waiting for the dots to be connected by the reporters.

Wilson did more than criticize policy. He mocked his supporters and encouraged this shooting in an interview on MSNBC. Rick is guilty of exactly what he accuses Trump.

But criticism is an integral part of the democratic process, since you can't improve if you don't identify the problems.
The case doesn't go back to Cannon. In addition to the substantive issue regarding the appointment of Jack Smith, DOJ will be asking for her removal from the case for documented bias.

According to the BBC:
The Community College of Allegheny, or CCAC, has confirmed that Crooks attended the school between September 2021 and May 2024. He graduated with an associate degree in engineering science.
In a statement sent to the BBC, the college noted that he graduated "with high honours" and that a review of his records turned up no disciplinary, student conduct or security-related incidents.
It seems wrong to characterize him as not smart. It was also said that he loved history.
Perhaps he felt betrayed by the turn of his party and heard the same "vermin" and "poisoning the blood" remarks he had read from Hitler in history.
Obviously this doesn't change the fact that what he chose to do was terrible.

@@autodogdact3313 Well it seems this searches for a specific conclusion maybe he just read about the issues, it seems some seek a conclusion that he didn't check out a specific target, but that others were targets, re one specific conclusion or speculation among others.
Personally one of my speculations is that he targets where the source of anger was most pronounced! ie. Donald Trump.
When people are in a "confused" state reacting to this they often home in on that expressed source of agression , whether that is the source of "danger" is the right or real treat.

The special counsel report stated that Biden could not be found liable because he is a “well-meaning old man with a poor memory”. So you basically have to admit that either Biden’s DOJ is corrupt and he should be charged, or their assessment of him is correct and he is as old and senile as he seems.

I removed my previous comment to give a more pointed one. This young man was 16 years old when he started HS and when MAGA, Truth Social, Elon Musk’s free for all Twitter takeover happened. I worked in schools and bullying was a focus of our program. I can imagine the creep of resistance for school personnel to protect kids as the bullies parents were unleashing their inner bully. I can imagine parents of the bullies being emboldened to go to school personnel with threats and intimidation. The consequence? The bullied were on their own and really isolated. Heck, teachers are MAGA! In NC, Michelle Morrow an anti public education and anti vaxxer who rages and demeans as part of her campaign, is running for NC Superintendent of Schools to stick it to the education system. Connect the dots.

They didn't want to talk about them when they saw how many times Trump was identified in the files. Renewed interest about a woman using the pseudonym "Katie Johnson" who has twice filed a civil lawsuit against Trump and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein accusing them of having sexually abused her when she was 13 years old, but those lawsuits were dismissed or withdrawn. People want to know who was the judge and why were the cases thrown out? Were the woman's claims even investigated?

I live in Italy. I'm grateful when I hear people from other European countries offer their moral support. Unfortunately, in Italy people seem to support Trump, based mostly on disinformation they get from the Italian media. Learning foreign languages, and learning anything else, is discouraged here. They don't even have history courses in the schools anymore; you just get bits and pieces in other courses. I see comments on other channels that say things like "our (their) beloved president Trump being driven from Los Angeles to New York for his day in court." While two English-language videos, one from the US and one from Australia, said that the Trump campaign SAYS they received 55 (if I remember correctly) million dollars in donations, an Italian newspaper said that the Trump campaign received 55 million dollars in donations.
They constantly ridicule Biden for stuttering and say he can't be understood, never taking into account that they don't understand English. I understand what Biden says, even when he slurs words. I once said that I couldn't understand half of what Meloni, the prime minister, said in English, and asked why there weren't subtitles in Italian, and everyone condemned me for my criticism of Meloni. They called me stupid, ignorant, deaf. One of them even accused me of being an illegal alien.
And even on the left their ignorance shows. One guy's idea of how to save America was to have Obama run as Biden's vice president and then, if anything happened to Biden, Obama could be president again.
Remember that Italy is the country where fascism was invented. The prime minister is a fascist, although she's not allowed to say that by law. She's pals with Orban and no one sees anything wrong with that.

You are so right, latent fascism is in every country, but much more in some than others. Trump, Putin, Orban, Erdogan, Slovakia, Italy, France ... it is dangerous when human beings lose their moral moorings. The only way back is the truth that we are moral beings made in the image of God, that He loves us and came to us to bring us back home. Justice and truth are grounded in Him.

Well, this is scary, but after seeing Meloni win (horrifying) this makes sense. I think many people don't want to think for themselves anymore. They like the idea of a strong team and having someone direct their lives. Many people seem to not know or have forgotten what happens (especially with the lack of education in civics and history) if an autocrat becomes a leader.

Thank you for bringing this up. I thought it was the individual channels that were doing this to me. I take a lot of time on some channels and post a thoughtful comment, one that is not rude and does not incite violence, and when I look again, the comment is gone. Where is my right to free speech?
Am going to quite a few doctors these days . One constant that I see everywhere parents are constantly on their phones and ignoring their children. This was true a couple of years ago - NOW the kids also have their own phones mostly so they will not bother the parents.
Waiting rooms very quiet - everyone of any age is staring at a phone.
You see this in restaurants while couples and families are dining.
