Haha, here after Mike's amazing promotion. I wonder what's coming next. A circle? /j
Thank you for these videos, Kya, Sally and Maeri! Hope you all have decent day!
Omg tah youre saving my ass lmao luv ya
This was so amazing. Thank you, I'm at loss for words, no idea how to express how grateful I am. I'm currently in a psych ward, going through many bad things. Indeed I've hit the rock bottom, I have to be kept here since I can't stay safe at home. I'm so thankful for this video, and the first part too. It has been working very well and it calms me down very well and I will be using these techniques whenever I feel anxious. Thank you💗
Hope you feel much better soon ❤️
@@abilevitt3334 thank you❤️
This was wonderful and helped me relax for some much-needed rest. Thank you all for taking the time to film/narrate this exercise, the safe space you hold is greatly appreciated❤️.
I really enjoy this one ! It gives you more time to slowly breathe out, which at first can be difficult. I remember the first time we had something similar at yoga, I didn't know how to slowly exhale, I was getting most of the air out at once, so it required a bit of practice. The teacher was doing a longer box breathing, 8 seconds for each, I never managed to pace out the breathe in, so thank you for this version that I can do without struggle !
Thanks I have been really needing some things to help my anxiety ❤ it’s been getting so bad I get daily headaches from stress too. I think your all amazing and are great role models .Thanks so much ❤
Thanks for these tools y’all are so considerate of your audience.
Breathing exercises remind me of taking a smoking break in a strange way. When you’re anxious it makes sense to have an excuse to go outside and breathe at a party, I wonder if in the future quiet breathing spots wouldn’t make sense instead of “smoking areas.” For the public to go get fresh air and ground. Maybe a little fountain with some smooth surfaces and a little garden. ❤
You three are wonderful together ❤
Not currently going through an anxiety attack but this will be very useful in the future thank you
Thank you Kya and Sally! I hope you guys are doing well ☺️
Thank you for the second breathing exercise. I will try to practice and see which will suit me more. Thank you for giving us options to choose which breathing exercises that will suit us, Kya, Sally and Maeri💙🖤🥰
Youre welcome! Kya's a good planner 👀 - Mike ✌️😎
@@DissociaDID Heyo Mike! I agree with you on that! 😊
Absolutely absolutely love these videos ❤️
Sidenote for a little giggle: Kya when will you be showing us how to fasten our seatbelts, where the emergency exits are and how to use our oxygenmasks in case of an emergency? 😋
Thank you all for making this series ☺️🥰
My relationship of 4 years ended last night & these videos could not come at a better time. Thank you for helping us feel safe.
Thank you for these videos, you explain how to do it very well and I find it easy to follow along. Lots of love 💙💙💙
I know this doesn’t have many views, but I hope you’ll do more of these videos occasionally. They’re so calming. ❤
❤ I use a similar breathing method to this during my morning meditations. I personally find it really helpful and I hope others will too.
These breathing videos are going to help so many, including myself ❤
Had a good cry after this, a good thing. We struggle as a system to let tears flow. We love you all xoxo -Pack System
Thank you for more!! Always so helpful 🥰
Thanks for the video. Very Helpful. Love from California
This breathing technic is too much for me, because I can't breathe out that long without getting panic. (One of my biggest fears is related to breathing) But I know this method is very calming for others. Thank you for breathing with us and reminding us all we're safe❤ I really appreciate what you're doing❤
I'm in the same boat, one of my triggers is my asthma and holding my breath can feel too similar to my symptoms. But I know a lot of people get a lot of good out of breathing exercises!
I have chronic asthma. When I was developing fears of never having enough breath, these techniques were taught to me. (Sally is going a bit fast on her second count.) It’s not just beneficial to slowing your parasympathetic system, it helps build up your lung capacity as these exact techniques as used in choirs (also was in choirs for 20+ years.) There’s tons of breathing exercises from those used in yoga practice that’ll strengthen the diaphragm to counting based ones to ones based in meditation.
thank you SO MUCH for the guided videos! they help so much. lots of love, everybody
Idk how you feel about asmr, but you guys have a very calming voice that reminds me a lot of the type of speaking in asmr. It’s very relaxing ❤
It looked like you (as you were speaking) were calming down as well, your counting started a bit uneven for me, but then it became nicely even. Or I was a bit negative at the beginning and got more calm and positive at the end. Or both.
But witchever it is: thank you all!!! You calmed me down ❤
This technique has been my favorite for years
Thank you so much, you and the whole system are one of my inspirations. I really needed this today, the advice that's given here truly dose help.
2 videos in a row? amazing! y'all are truly inspiring! ❤ - Huldíða
Wow, perfect timing. I was ramping up to a panic attack and saw this and you helped me calm immensely. You voice is so calming as well. I think listing to you read a dictionary would calm me down. Lol. You are awesome. Never forget the good you do for others!!
I love this series! I would definitely love some more, even meditations if possible! Thank you so much
ahh yes this one is my go to! box breathing is super hard for me because i’ve grown up singing so my lungs automatically take in heaps of air really quickly and and let it out really slowly so i’m always playing catch up with breathing techniques that have really low breathe out times 😅 took me way too long to realise that’s why they weren’t working for me! thank you all for this one, it’s going in my calm down playlist - your voice never fails to make me feel safe and cared for ❤
I knew about box breathing. This was a new technique for me, and found it really helpful. I've always found your voice soothing.
Thank you. We are going through some troubles as of late, and this is a moment oor two of peace that I hope we can all share. 💛✋
Wow, even a minute in and I could feel the tension leaving my shoulders and neck. (It is where I hold it most). Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much for doing the series. I have high functioning autism and suffer from anxiety On an almost daily basis to the point where I have to take medicine to control it and even that only goes so far. This is very helpful.
I loved this. It was such a comfort
i remember being taught this when i had a panic attack at school in grade 10 after i suffered really bad abdominal pains. we later found out what it was but it was scary when i didn't know. the councilor, who knew me at that point from previous encounters, taught me this and helped me breathe again. they worried my appendix had ruptured but i told them i got this pain a lot which just seemed to freak them out more which freaked me out so i really appreciated her being there a lot.
This series is incredible, thank you so much for making it ❤
I've been waiting to watch this video on a day when I needed it and oh boy I needed it today. It's been just.. an awful day. The breathing part actually made me lightheaded so I stopped, but the voice over was so relaxing that it really calmed and relaxed me.
These videos are so helpful. I shared it people as they helped me so much.
Thank you for this! I have sensory issues and usually need to calm down in the morning after my drive to work because of the bright lights, so I'll gladly use this to help :3
i've been dealing with some awful paranoia about my abuser recently and this really helped, thank you.
I'm genuinely glad to learn this information, thank you so much and lots of love for everyone in the system !!
i didn't realise how much i needed this
thank you
I come here almost every time my panic gets too much ❤ thank you
Damn double videos👀
btw the shirt you are wearing in these videos is really cute :)
First time I've hear of this technique, I really like it. Super centering and I like that you exhale for linger than you inhale. Especially great for me because I tend to hyperventilate during panic attacks/flashbacks/overstimulation meltdowns. I also found Kaya and Maeri's visuals with their hands really helpful. 👍
*heard, not hear and longer, not linger. Typing 😅
thank you so much for this video, i have bpd and had a really bad episode today and have been struggling to settle down since then so this is really helpful.
Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much. I was at school during electives and I have gym. I have sfairesphobia and started panicking seeing people playing soccer and basketball, this really helped.
this is very helpful to see different types of breathing exercises. thank you all.
Thank you. This literally helped me stop a panic attack 💗
just had a hardcore emotional flashback and came straight to this video. thank you💜
Yasss, thank you, sm. I can use this because I get very nervous
I also wanted to say thank you ,
You're very brave , I know how it is I also have DID ,so tysm for making videos like this one. ❤️
this one worked better for me than the 4x4 count - thx yall for doing this series, it is great help
Hi all, our little wanted to say hi. We are happy to be able to watch this video.
3:52 I have been here for almost an hour listening back and forth
Maeri would be a perfect stewardess :)
I know this is rather a late comment, but I started crying a bit out of relief from this. I think it was out of relief anyway, cuz I feel a lot calmer after doing this. At first it was scary, cuz I'm not good at holding my breath, but it's actually managable after a few times. So thank you so much for sharing this.
❤ thanks lovelies!
My asthma dictates that the box breathing from the last video is the one I must use- 7 seconds is a long time to hold my breath haha! Thank you for this video, it is very calming even just to listen to :))
this saved me from a panic attack thank u sm 💙
Ibreally lije tge concept of the video. It is very calming. Thx for making ist
thank you very much. i felt like my lungs stretched out and eased out of chains. i am not very patient when i do breathing on my own, your guided video helped
You managed to drop my HR to 50. Impressive!
You're amazing Kya, thank you for everything :)
Can you cover the PLEASE skill? Especially TIPP (Both from DBT as I know them)
Thank you for this one. My therapist keeps trying to get me to do the box breaths, but for some reason those hurt lol. This one is much better!
this is wonderful -and my cat takes this oportunity to toss all my mini sculptures on the floor 😽
Hey y'all, I'm the core of a Native Two Spirit bodied system and I just contacted a helpline, yesterday was the National Day of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Girls Women and Two Spirits and it hits really close to home and I've been grappling with survivors guilt and emotional flashbacks after an anonymous trauma holder I'm unaware of revealed a traumatizing memory a few days ago where I thought I was going to be murdered by my main abuser. This made us feel a bit better.
I'm glad this helped, and I'm so so sorry for all you've been through. I can't even imagine. I'm glad you've been reaching out for help, please stay safe. ❤️
I have a difficult time breathing, like I never feel as though I inhale enough air, things like this help even if I don’t experience panic attacks or anxiety attacks
would it be possible for you to post these breathing exercises guides in video with only the counting in loop, so that this mini serie is the explanation while the counting-loop versions are maybe 5 minutes long to be used from start to finish in moments when we might need them? this is not to say that these videos aren’t already helpful, because they truly are, but a counting-only video to hear while doing it for a number of minutes would really be a game changer, at least in my opinion. i tend to learn these things but not being able to do them in my actual day to day, because without someone else i feel very lost and i kinda give up even before starting, or maybe after a few breaths. your voice instead is very soothing and really helpful, so i was wondering if it would be possible for you to do. sorry for bothering by the way, i totally understand if it is not something you want to do or have as a video. thank you anyway for all that you already do! i hope you have a very serene and calm day!
Would like to give a thank you to Mike for promoting this video on TikTok. 😂
Such a wonderfull video keep going your content is so addictivce
Omg moreee???
I like this one.
amazing!
I do this one to slow my hearteate
I wish I could do breathing exercises like this. I don't have the lung capacity for it
You could try some simple Qigong movements and breathe at your own rhythm. I'm not saying it 's the perfect fit for you, just that something's you can try if you feel like it. My favorite routine is Qigong with Kseny How to Feel Great In 10 Minutes - Beginner Qigong Routine
I have a question. Do you guys have a Mediator Alter? My Therapist wants to help me create one on purpose to help my communication between my alters.
My therapist and i are in the process to see if i need tested to see if i have did please pray for me
My mind and me)by Selena Gomez.😊

We have a hard time with this so could give tips and ways to help :)
We would appreciate it a lot 🫶🏻
We can try ❤️
Thank you 🙏🏻🫶🏻

I was about to just let the freak out happen, grateful that I went three days without letting it eat at me. Then I remembered this existed. Thank you.
I love that you're doing this series! A breathing technique I just learned about in therapy but haven't seen anywhere else is finger tracing, where you trace your fingers as you breathe (breathing in while tracing up the finger, and out while down the other side) Idk if you've heard of it, or if other people will find it useful, but it's really helpful for me because the physical sensation of tracing my fingers draws my attention to that sensation instead of my own thoughts
Just commenting to try to explain a bit more, because I had to look it up: you should use a finger from one hand to trace around the other hand, as if trying to draw it (like a little kid would). I hope that is actually helpful, English is not my first language.
❤
Cool that you posted this! I was actually looking for techniques for calming anxiety.
hope the lil mini series helps! - Mike
This is so great! I don't have DID but I have panic attacks sometimes. Feels good to know some breathing exercises that I can do in case it's needed. Thank you!! ❤️
These breathing exercises are great. I especially love the latter part of these video series
Hello again! Thank you, saved this method too. Also, leave a comment for not blaming Mike for his “scrappy promotion”. He is cool.
This video was posted like 8 minutes ago (by the time i am watching this) and i was just about to have a panic attack, this helped me so much, thank you!
Hope youre feeling better now! -Mike
Thank you for making this little mini-series. It’s super calming and relaxing, and makes me feel so much better about all the stuff going on in my life right now. Lots of love!
Thank you for releasing this video today. I had a very strong trigger not even and hour ago and to be able to hear a voice I know walk me through breathing until the attack passed helped keep me dissociating tonight when the hospital could not calm me. Thank you.
Came here for Mike 😂😂
i love those breathing videos... the visualization is wonderful and your reassurences and calmness is full of love thank you!!!
We thought no we are just going to watch and listen. But we felt so comfortable that we went along and it was really calming. Thank you ❤
I have never really felt comfortable with 478. The exhalation is too long and i find myself unable to stretch it for more than 6-7 counts, meaning there is 1 second where you feel that you are forcing it and that is off-putting. Also I do think I start to get oxygen deprived after 10 cycles or something like that.
Thank you so much for this video. I‘m much more relaxed now and it put the link to this video in my note for bad days.
Take care everyone 💚
Thank you, Sally, for always inspiring me to keep calm and enjoy the little things in life 🌼
This is wonderful! I've seen so many guided breath videos but your voice is so calming and I loved the things you said after, the editing. Sally and Kya's voice and then Maeri with Kya on screen is just perfect omg. Thank you so much! I came to this relaxed but am now even more relaxed. And will definitely come to this in difficult times. You've found a whole new thing that you are great at! I think you can help so many people with more of this kind of video. Thank you so so much Kya, Sally and Maeri! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You are true warriors and give so much strength to your audience.
