can you make tutorial how to draw ghibli girl character? and actually i still learn more about illustrator and i see that you can crop your shape match with another shape to make a shadow, how you can do that?

I don't even have illustrator and I never use the pen tool but I learned a lot from this video. The pen tool shows your train of thought that I can follow. I can incorporate some of that in my art. Thanks. Definitely subscribed.

by the way, adobe illustrator is really convenient to use, can I do the same way like that in open source software like Inkscape or Krita?

Im been watching in slow motion and thinking and thinking but i can not found the mistake about the shadows and the shift M. I did the "shadow" then select it with was under it press shift M, hold alt but I just have the option to delete everything of the "shadow".
I know is the same thing that you did with the eyes but for some reason I can't do it with the shadows.
I saw everyone is having the same problem but i dont know why

I use Shift + M to delete unnecessary shape (hold Alt)

ohh, in my opinion you should hold alt and select the part you want to remove, not drag the mouse

cảm ơn bác vì những hướng dẫn,phần vẽ em làm tốt nhưng đến khi "Live paint" xong lại không thể dùng "Shape Builder Tool" và khi Clipping Mask nó báo lỗi "can't make clipping mask the top selected object must be a path,a compound shape, a text object, or a group of those".Mong được giải đáp ạ
sau khi dùng LIve pain b phải epand cả nhóm đó đã nhé (vào object chọn epand)
còn lỗi clipping mask của bạn thì có thể bạn chưa cho hình mask lên trên lớp đây tiên, hình mask phải là một shape không quá phức tạp nhé.
@ dạ,về phần Clipping Mask khi em cho lên đầu nó lại bị mất những hình sau thì phải làm sao ạ ( có thể cho mặc định AI lỗi ) nhưng làm sao để hiện lên hình phía sau được ạ
@@ancombangthia mình chưa hiểu hình sau của bạn nghĩa là gì lắm, theo mình hiểu có 2 hướng nhé:
- mất hình sau thì bạn có thể nhân đôi hình đó trước xong đó mới dùng clippin mask
- hoặc khi bạn dùng clipping mask bạn phải chọn đúng các layer cần hco vào mask thì mới không mất
Những vòng tròn chọn màu bên trái có phím tắt gì tạo ko bạn?

Love ur art. Bro need help. In 15:52s how did u do the shading part? Cuz everytime i use the shape builder and select everything and use alt. All shade disappears.
you have to hold Alt and select the part you want to remove at the same time

@ i did that but i also deleted the lower part, a covered area of excess (which has color from the live paint)
