Artists first time MINTING an NFT on Rarible...blockchain gas prices are so high!

I really wanted to go through the minting process of uploading a piece of digital art to the Ethereum blockchain and document the tips and tricks of successfully going through the process. It turned out to be quite expensive but only time will tell if it is eventually worth it! Thanks for watching and let me know if you've invested in any pieces yourself.

I tried to sell on Rarible but after paying a fee it wanted to charge $115 to proceed after already paying nearly $50. I tried to cancel the whole thing but couldn't and now I'm out almost $50 and so far I have not been able to get a refund.

Yeah the whole fee system is incredibly not transparent ...and who would you even call for an issue?!

If you receive ETH when you sell an NFT, do you also need a certain amount of ETH in your wallet?

Very good video. The exact same thing happened to me as you ... I think my Rarible profile will only have one work for a long time. Maybe that will change with the arrival of Ethereum 2.0, the fees will be much cheaper. But it will be necessary to be patient because it is not yet for now ...

I think we're in the same boat...I think most non established artist will be like this. This of couse also might mean if you upload a bunch of NFTs you would stand out from most artists then.
