This video is recorded 43 years ago. If you are seeing my comment then you can visit Nepal. It is still beautiful and peaceful and you will love it. Nepal is a country to visit before you die....Heaven is myth Nepal is real. Yes i am from Nepal and i love to visit all 77 districts of Nepal before i die. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks for appreciating the work and lifestyle of these people , they are very strong as they are the children of brave gorkha ❤💖lots of love from nepal
The ladies spinning & preparing the yarns, making aprons on the hand loom Reminds me of my good childhood days. My mom n late grandma used to make materials for apron, blankets, Tibetan rugs n bags on the hand loom👍
The crows remind me cold weather and the silence of people in my town. Nevertheless what a beautiful and peaceful life if we see the landscape and the foggy place.
Even being a permanent nepali citizen , we get to see this kind of places in documentary only... thanks for the video . will love to get there sometime sooner or later...
Love from India ...love this video ...innocent people. ..their ethnicity. ..hard life there but they are happy comparing to other metropolitian cities it's crowds ...Internet world technology ...this is natural ....love it 😍
Omg this is an amazing video Thank you so much for sharing this video and whoever made it did an excellent job. i was born in that region called Lho village and all the things in this video is so natural. I was grow up in Kathmandu studying but i go to my village from time to time. No matter how far it is from the capital how remote it is it is the best place for me on the Earth. I miss you Nubri and all people especially life style and everything.
My goodness, I love this video....I'll bet the yak hair rope is made similar to the method they say they are using goat hair. Lovely video...so simple and rich.
For marcin urbanowski. I saw your comment and according to my experience it takes around 12 hours in the bus from capital to Aru gat near by town. From there you track for 5 to 6 days depending on how fast you can walk. People you love walking can reach within 5 days as well. Its just a great place if you can, do visit you will not regret the experience. If you go in helicopter i heard its only 35 mins. I have never been in helicopter to my village since its pertty expensive.
It's very hard to live their life bts they r happy n always smiley n never see any sadness in their face that's gr8s salute our Nepal n nepalese cultural
Very well done! Like the authenticity of all your nepalmovies. And you are also very focused on the people and their interactions. Interesting documents. Thank you for sharing! Namaste!!!
Who ever like this Documentary and drafty house and out house of Nepal can exchange place withe these hard working beautiful people .I am sure any were in America you live they will be happy for exchange even they will give that privilege to do the wool with your hand!!!
Excellent camera work. Rare close-ups. I would love to spend a week up there with those people, although I would probably have to bring my own food. I doubt they eat very much and I wouldn't want to impose. Although it might take me a few days to acclimatize to the lack of oxygen.
My tribe resembles those of Nepal wher we carry baskets on our backs ( kayabang)and a balanced them on our heads by a rope ..and the men invented back packs made of bamboo to carry stuff as we walk through steep mountain trail as well .Now the modern Tribe own cars and some paved roads where it was impassable due to rocky Mountainous trail where we plant dry rice , sweet potatoes , taro and other staple food .Them days were tough. But that iz how my ancestors lived and raised their children primitive but happy.
The life in there is originally. They are so happy with their culture and traditional. I would like to visit there. It s silent and pure life. Thank you.
This village is in Nepal near the border of Tibet. All these people are ethnic Tibetans. Many of these villages came under Nepali rule around 1800s when Nepal invaded Tibet.
@Ace Portgas, Of course, there are plenty of historical records. Tibetan government signed a contract with Nepal to produce silver and gold coins for Tibetan currency. But Nepali merchant started mixing other metals with gold and silver. When Tibetan complained the Nepali government were not happy and invaded Kyirong, Zongkha which is just beyond this village on the Tibetan side and an uneven treaty were signed between the Tibetan government was much under the control of monastery so there was hardly any soldier to defend Tibet. Tibet lost these territories to Nepal in 1800s.
thanks! ..am glad they all cooperated and was filmed--naive and quiet people--enjoying simple life with all the beauty of nature around them--..which i think i cannot live with--but..maybe for jz a time! 😊😊😊
