- As their base is being infiltrated, the clones learn to fear one of the Separatists' most deadly creations: the commando droid!
This animation is based off of the classic Team Fortress 2 "Meet the Spy" skit. I know the original video isn't for everyone as it does get a bit mature, but I thought it made for a great parallel with The Clone Wars and commando droids. - Фільми й анімація

Since no one else has mentioned it, while also being a TF2 reference, it’s also referencing Clone Wars S1 E5. The one where the commando droids hide in clone helmets.

I love the fact that LEGO didn't give battle droid Minifigures proper legs, because it gives us things like this.
To be fair, their legs are pretty skinny, so it's hard to make functional ones without much complication.
This is actually a really fun idea, loving it!
Lego desperately needs to update their droid molds.

clone molds as well, so the helmets can feature attachments
@@Southhs Definetly, my phase 2 501st troopers can't have attachments and I had to use a phase 1 lieutenant helmet to make him be able to have attachments and look a bit like a ARC trooper
Personally, I think the arm, Head, and torso molds are fine and actually really good. They just need to fix the legs. Wish they were posable

The tone is pretty different from the original, but still amanges to be funny, in a more awkward way. Good job. I also like that the disguised droid pretended to get cut by the vibro-blade, touching the blunt end. In the original it's barely noticable but it's nice way for the infiltrating character to seem clueless, making it less predictable that it's him.
This was so freaking incredible! I absolutely loved the animation throughout this parody.
