I am a retired Montessori teacher from u. TCV.l remember Mrs.lobsang samten la or semokushok Namlala. She was down to earth and used to come and help us when we take the little children to lower Dharamshala river side picnic. She used to be in a truck with the children standing. She even washed a child’ s underwear with stool at the riverside. That time I was young and new and couldn’t even appreciate on time.
Cham Kushok Lak, very simple and down to earth. Her entire family keeps low profile. Even though they have everything, they never brag what they have. They played the role model in our community.
Tashi Delek Chamkusok la ! Thank you 🙏 for all your hard work and sacrifices to our country! We will never forget you and family sacrifices . You are such a beautiful soul with kind heart 🌎✌️😍
Thank you Bhuchung la, old is gold these old generations life and experiences are very rare to hear and we are lucky enough to listen these words by your help! 🎉🎉🎉

My admiration for Namlha la is boundless. She is very simple, extremely dedicated for our Tibetan cause, deeply spiritual, incredibly practical and above all a very kind person. Thanks for this enlightening interview 🙏
Very inspirational dialogue. Thankyou so much for organising this inspiration dialogue. Namgayl la is great 👍👍👍 Inspiration for all women. As a women I am very proud of Namgayl la. ❤❤❤
I admire this lady, she is so down to earth lady. I read her book titled Dreaming Lhasa. My humble request please can you write book on Tibetan traditional food. I want thank you for your sacrifice and service to Tibet and TIBETAN. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Such a wonderful story!! Pls do a second part pls !!!! Can’t wait to read her book 📕 Born in Lhasa !!! I remember I read “Kundun while I was in school “ which is a biography of Kundun’s family members . It’s a wonderful book too 🙏🙏🙏
Bhuchung la, you need to come prepared with clear and complete questions tailored to your interviewees; your questions tend to be stereotypical or in cookie cutter form to every interviewees. Also, it appears that your effussiveness throughout the duration of your interviews clouds your ability to formulate and articulate succinct questions. I hope you will take my words as a constructive feedback only.
Please stop painting all the nobles with the same brush. I think you did not listen this interview fully. I heard that this noble lady served our exile government for 28 years. I think people like you have never served our exile government for a single day and worst of all you maybe NOT EVEN PAYING CHATREL TO SUPPORT OUR GOVT.
@@Sid-s1nI know that many of their children were sent to better schools on the dime of foreign sponsors at the same time I think those sponsors might NOT have asked to send the children of former nobles to those schools. I think children went to Central Tibetan schools had benefitted more by learning our own languages. Today many of those children, who went to convention schools are lacking in Tibetan language. Any way we should not forget majority of those noble families have contributed immensely towards our exile government and people at large.

Please do more interviews with the descendants of the nobleman. It is very useful for the future history of Tibet.
Very true and we have to learn previous lifestyle of these people!
