- (Tailess the later years) The end for a truly Iconic lioness (Tailess) Queen of Londolozie. Who simply drifted into unconsciousness for the last time on 6 June 2018, following a brutal attack against her by her own grandaugters. Unable to recover from the attack she succumbed to her wounds and sadly took her last breath a week later on the Banks of the Manyelethi River Londolozie.
In her remaining years a lioness who willingly made great sacrifice for the greater good and future survival of her young family she had fought so hard to protect.Splitting from her pride and territory in 2015, taking her sisters four subadults the 3 Tsalala males and 1 female whom were sired by the legendary Majingilanes, escaping to safety to raise and protect them from the Matimba males who had came to Londolozie. This led to Tailess and the youngsters having to traverse areas that were not within her territory taking high risks to protect and raise the subadults. One truly remarkable lioness who will be greatly remembered and deeply missed.

A beautiful tribute for tailless Tsalala Queen she leaves a Legacy behind
Wonderful tribute. Within a very male celebrated species, there are those beautiful diamonds whose will, intelligence, and unique personality shine brighter than any around her. May her spirit live on in her family, and the new cubs her niece raises alone.

It's really a sad story for this Tsalala Tailess lioness. Her life is kind of a replica of her own mother, losing her tail by the hyenas, going for all the most difficult way trying to save the youngsters, and eventually getting killed by her own granddaughters....What a tragedy and this lioness fell in the safe fate as her mother....And it's even more sad that two of the boys she tried hard to help raising up, later died of electrocution. Man-made tragedy....

Makes you wonder how much more time she could have lived if her family did not badly beat her up very heartbreaking obviously was not able to fight of several lionesses all at once and her chances were very slim anyway because of her age! It was just an unfortunate happening; but it is sad that it finished her life off by such a violent ending thankyou for this beautiful dedication i miss the pride ,

Great choice of song, Gladiator theme song, for a great lioness. Tailess, for all the lionesses named Tailess. Sad that she was killed by her granddaughters, but they formed a different pride, & didn't identify with her as a relative. Sad for the 3 subadult males, for 2 of them got electrocuted to death. So sad for her last cub. So only her niece, & last Tsalala male is left. What is the name of her niece? Keep us updated upon the progress of her niece & last Tsalala male. @@BigCatsAndWild for all practical purposes, she's known as last Tsalala lioness, or Tailess's niece, but no proper name has been given. Now she has cubs. It reminds me of the Charleston males aunt who raised them alone by herself. Hopefully Tsalala niece (I'll call her Niece, for lack of a proper name) does what the Charleston aunt did. I'm rooting for her, & her brother the Tsalala lone male. I hope the best for them. They have a very tough road ahead of them.

TJ Amour The remaining young lioness was going around looking hungry for a short time, but like her mother the tailed tsalala and her aunt Tailess who were superb hunters, she very quickly proved, to have amazing hunting ability as a lone lioness and brought down an adult wildebeest. She is hanging in their, despite being a lone lioness and has also had cubs a number of weeks ago, father is Birmingham boys.
@@BigCatsAndWildhighly unlikely will the birminghams protect her or the cubs cubs even the dact they are in their prime if im honest they are a bit of a hopeless bunch in more ways than one ran out on every cub they have had avocas took their territory at the north they left all the lionesses then left mhangeni pride with cubs leaving nguvu now to occupy that region these boys dont know what theiy are doing there all over the place and dont have a clue really also down too three strong now but there not srong really dont think things are all that promising only lucky cause majingilanes left a vacancy open nothing else these boys havent proved much in their time really
TJ Amour If you take into consideration how young the Birmingham’s were when they took over their first territory, they were practically toddlers compared to Matimbas. Even although there were five of the Birmingham boys at the time, that in itself was still a pretty great achievement at their young age gaining the territory from the two greatly experienced matimbas,.So they have already went down in history for this victory. Although there was no physical fight, or confrontation between them except for vocalization tactics, the Birmingham Boys remained patient, persistent, and confident, but still got the job done , mission accomplished, as Matimbas eventually retreated, and BBoys, managed to gain a territory of their own.

Daniel 987 yeh she did not have an easy time of it neither neither did her mother BB, a lot in common with each other in the way of circumstances.Tailess her sister and their mother had cubs with mopogos eight between them at that point. then the Majingilanes killed four of them, the other four were females protected by BB who are known as the Mhangeni pride.
Valar Morghulus Mopogos held terriritory back then, Majingilanes were on the look out to get territory all moving together in a team.Thats the way they operated.
Valar Morghulus It was one thing MT and KT taking out the fifth Majingilane that day , but they still had another four to deal with by themselves and that night that’s when all their lives changed for good. The Majingilanes were not going to leave the East in a hurry wether their brother died or not. They wanted land for themselves taking their chances.

Damn, killed by her own granddaughters? Did they kill her cub too? Surviving & thriving 16 years on the plains is an amazing accomplishment. Fast forward to late 2021, I'm praying with my whole heart for her surviving niece who was recently mauled by the Nkhuma Pride, also her 1 surviving cub sired by the Birminghams. She's smart, brave & loving like Aunty Tailmore.🦁👑💪🏽💞
This remarkable Queen should be called 'Tailmore' because she is abundant in everything else. She did so well for the 4 subadults.

Daniel 987 His hip did hinder his ability in many ways especially as he got to that older age and towards the end difficult to hunt , and to have kept up with his brothers was never the same after that tree jump but regards to medical help they don’t interfere with the animals, unless any harm to them is caused by humans

deadcool 2 Sorry I don’t know about any other hip injury with Hipscar connected to the Matimbas. It has been said way back since this time period that the impact from this tree caused him continuous bother. You can clearly see the two lionesses being drawn to his hip area after he jumped as a way of them known and sensing he was was hurt in that particular body area .

A sad difficult life one tough lioness
I`am sure that the late Queen Tailess of the Tsalala pride is watching over her nice the lone Tsalalas lioness and her cub along with three tooth the last Tsalala male lion. I will keep my hopes for the three of them to have long life .RA 68 HELL FIRE

The small cub did not make it. The sub lioness however is still alive today….she’s a nomadic lioness raising a last subadult herself. Both are the last bloodline of the tsalala Pride. I’m pulling for them to restore their former glory

Only one young lioness seen here is alive in Londolozie. Her two brothers died, leaving one who resides at Kruger.
@@BigCatsAndWild the female subadult was seen In londolozi this past month. She is still raising her daughter they seem to be doing well and staying away from harm. The Tsalala male that survived (three tooth) joined the del aporte coalition in Kruger but has gone missing for quite some time

Gurmeet Singh Their fathers are Majingilanes, born in 2013. Their mothers the Mhangeni/ Tsalala breakaways were sired by mopogos.And then their mother Tailess was sired by Marthly males her brother is solo

Ochoa Guillermo Tailess Is Solos older sister, both were sired by Split rock/Marthly males, also known as Robson males. They also sired three of the youngest Styx pride female.

nyyanksny03 With BB known as the original Tailess, and also her two daughters known as the (current Tailess )and the (tailed female) passed away,, with BB and two daughters being the senior members of Tsalalas it was pretty much considered and feared as being almost
the end of the Tsalala pride .
As in this sense this left the young lone niece of the current Tailess who she was joined up with at the time and when the current Tailess died, due to the lone Tsalala niece being the last remaining female pride member since her aunt she still bores the legendary name of Tsalala, .she is now a mother herself cubs to Birmingham Boys. It can be quite confusing for some to understand with regards to all the females generations stemming from BB who were also referred to as the breakaways that were attached to their generational pride names and due to the females splitting up over the years depending on where the lionesses territory was established..

Carlos Remont Her grandaughters are estranged from her, will not identify her as their actual blood relative. They formed their own pride a while back and the situation is they will not welcome her if they happen to cross paths with each other, but more the fact see her as a rival and competition . Completely different prides. Both had their own territory, that’s the way of the wild with lions/ lionesses they are very terrirtorial.
Same goes for prides and coalitions who are not related with unfortunate consequences if you dare to step on each other’s territory a number of factors can trigger an attack amongst different prides.
