Tired to sell Liliana of the Veil a few years ago, the card was found between the pages of am old book I was reading year ago... sleeved also. The guy pulled it out of the sleeve and basically flicked it, bended it, waved it about "to check it was real" and then had the audacity to tell me he couldn't buy it because it was fake... I still have the card to this day but it's a reminder that these people are really out there
This happened to me with a tropical island, I think they were going for like 150-200 at the time and the guy wanted 25$ for it, saying he had to make some money
I was trying to sell some of my old magic cards (cards that i dont use anymore cause i dont play modern anymore) so i was selling playsets of fetches and shocks and not to mention other random cards i had and they wanted 60$ for the entire lot. It was bad lmao
Had a worker at a franchise tell me oh yea we can give you $4 for a pokemon card o freshly pulled. I told him that's it was an $18 card and he proceeded to tell me yea so we're going to sell it for $20 and proceed to over 20% of what they were gonna sell it for to the person that sold them it. He didn't even apologize for the inconvenience he just said yea our tradeins sucks
Go back later to see it graded S++

😂😂😂😂
Look up some legitimate ways to spot fakes. Especially if you are buying or selling to someone who doesn't seem to know anything.
Theyre just handling the shit out of it

Some money is a 50% profit. Maybe with the way card prices fluctuate, they can give you 33% if prices suddenly tank.
Pisses me out how relatable it is
Most shops near me sell at full value but only give like 40% on trade or 35% if they are buying from you. It's kinda bullshit
My local store just uses an app to scan the normal cards for price, unsure about the high end stuff though
It does really suck going in to a shop with a 150 worth of cards and walking out with like 70
Every single time 😂
Very accurate

So glad wizards is doing such heavy reprints so we dont have to deal with this horse crap anymore.
