Dude logitech Z906 has 8" sub! Do your homeowork properly! Also your db meter is taking midrange frequency. Remove speakers and only compare sub to sub then it'll be fair comparision! JBL bounces that glass like crazy there is no way logitech can even come close! I have both and JBL is overall very very good package. Also logitech z906 sounds boomy many times. But for the price around 20k INR logitech wins
Show your JBL bar 1300. I've been watching all your videos of JBL 5.1 , Logitech systems. You are doing childish experiments to test a Logitech z906, and that too with an amp which doesn't comes with it. The reason why the JBL is shaking the glass is that it's a down firing sub. The pressure from back of the sub hit directly on top where the glass is placed. Logitech z906 has front firing technology. That's it. The guy says that it's a 12 inch sub. What's the reason? Because in person with its own amp,it performs just like 12 inch or plus size subs. You've only tested the bar 5.1 dear.
Z906 is beyond that. Stop crying. Stop your childish experiments. Get the full z906 system. I've told you before that I've experienced so many expensive setups in my life being an architectural designer from different home. No system gave me that wow moment that the Logitech z906 sub gave in bass department
@@speakerphile dude JBL 5.1 has exact same sub as 1300 in fact older model hence little less efficient than 1300 to be honest still beats out logitech z906 easily! I don't understand why you guys blindfoldedly follow some brand! I love logitech z906 as well but compared to JBL it's far behind the league and that's the fact! Accept the fact else ignore! And instead of proving me wrong here you can speak on technical terms like the comparison test here shows how badly glass shakes on jbl sub compared to logi! The dB meter is set to capture all frequency and not just low hence logi is little more loud compared to JBL. Anyway I don't have that much free time you're correct I'm wrong leave it.
I already told you what made the glass shake so badly when on jbl. let me ask you one thing. Why you blindly beleive that bar 3.1 to all flagship JBL bars use same sub? Are you the one who make subs for them? No,right? Then why? I must say you that you're like that type of guy who just eats the cherry on top of a cake and judges taste of the entire cake without even trying it. The JBL is rated 1300 watts rms. The z906 is 500 watts. But the db mere clearly shows that z906 is louder. You on one of your video said that the z906 has only 70w RMS sub. Now what? You got anything to say? That's it. You haven't experienced the z906 yet.

interesting video, but comparison seems a little unfair, comparing a wired to a wireless, you say a few times the Z906 is 15 years old, when its only 12 ;) unless another company makes a wired system like the Z906 i will be hard pressed to even want to replace my own Z906
Why is it unfair to compare wired with wireless? At the end of the day,both are home speaker systems. This video proves how powerful is the 300¢ z906 compared to a system that costs around 2000$
The Logitech is amazing and still in production after 12-15 years! I want to test it against the Z5500!
@@AudioTribe the z5500 bass is not deep like the z906. It is louder. Z906 is still the best. Even z623 has deeper bass than the z5500.

@@coolmonkey5269This is a case of if it's not broken don't fix it. Sure they could come out with newer models but I can guarantee they won't be built the same and the cost to performance will probably suffer with added features like bluetooth
