    (i have the same IO-LINK AND SENSOR you have. the communication between plc and IO-Link it's ok) but I have a problem transfer data to pcl i need your help

      Did you link your IO link with TIA portal ? Now you just need to assign the addresses for the inputs. Check my second video.

    if i have 3 sensors ifm, and i want stored the data in a Pc. I need a Master, a cable M12-usb and the related software. is it correcect?

      NOT in the PC you can store in TIA portal of Siemens software.

    I disagree on "Not being able to trace rapidly the source defect" in a sensor for an alarm, I am a controls engineer and perform this task on a routine basis every day I have a sensor failure. In fact with Sensor wired to Digital Input I/O I get the sensor name and PLC Slot Module/Terminal Location directly from the I/O configuration and the Electrical Schematics leads me to the proper Panel PLC location. I don't see any advantage there, on the other hand, I see an advantage in structure and localization of IOLink Module, however, I must go through LR device.
    If I am missing something here, please provide some insight, I will be delighted to analyze and review my position.
