I have been a Anaheim "Mighty" Ducks fan since 1993 and will be so til the day I die. Through bad and good years, I have stayed with the team. A Defender of the Pond !!! We will never see a dynamic offensive duo such as Teemu Selanne and Paul Karya or a crushing defense of Scott Niedermeyer and Chris Pronger or a living wall who lifts a team from the bottom to the very top like Jean-Sebastian Giguare.... BUT the future is not written and I look forward for see what the Anaheim "Mighty" Ducks have to show us.
really makes you appreciate back when an expansion team didn’t start with a...stocked pond, so to speak. look at vegas’ organization vs. the ducks first couple of years
Other than the jerseys and Paul Kariya, there's one thing the Ducks had that really stood out from the bunch.... THE KICKASS "ROCK THE POND" THEME SONG! 0:52
I remember there first year the came here to buffalo in February we all were excited to see the new team come into buffalo memorial auditorium and I could tell by the warm up skate that they were going to be tough well they were I think they beat us 4-2 i think? with Dominic hasek in net
4:09 "Together they would set out to build the most successful expansion team in NHL history." Florida Panthers took that honors though, they beat Anaheim by 12 points.
True that Karyria and Selene was the only reason the Ducks would make the runs we did and I love our mascot Wild Wing he keeps the Ducks inaugural history intact that iceman gimmick was stupid
The goalie mask and crossing sticks is easily one of the most iconic sports logos of all time
That's right it was awesome and famous!
Yet people we're embarrassed and ashamed of it I thought it was the best idea color scheme ever!!! And they were competive out of the gate
I got the tattoo and glad I got it 😂

Good memories of the team in video. Thanks for sharing!
I wonder if Anaheim would've made the playoffs in 94 over San Jose had Paul Kariya opted to play that year.
One of the reasons they're my 2nd favourite team.
Would have loved to see a Ducks home game during the Disney era. I was a kid during those days and didn’t put 2 and 2 together until it was too late.
RIP Ewen

But why did it change to the Honda center
money
Honda paid more money than arrowhead water to have naming rights for the building
Getting rid of the Iceman was pretty stupid
getting rid of Karyria and Selene was stupid. The Iceman was a stupid gimmick
True that Karyria and Selene was the only reason the Ducks would make the runs we did and I love our mascot Wild Wing he keeps the Ducks inaugural history intact that iceman gimmick was stupid
