Great video! I would have added one more tip. Turn off image stabilisation if needed. That was an issue that I had with some of my images.

Jason You were my photography prophet, with one of your first videos with Sony a 6000 you have said that mirrorless is the future, and You had absolutely right.
I purchased a 6000 not long time after, and I started building new system from A to E . Maybe it was a7mk2 first - I don't know, I don't remember for that moment. Anyway I'm glad I knew You through UA-cam, less satisfied that it wasn't in person, and after things changed for both of us. Now I still have 6000 and 7mk2, and 3 and I'm glad that I decided to do it.
It's nice to come back here from time to time. Thank You.

A similar situation happened to me, where I started with the a6000 and only after 5 years changed to the a7iii. But the more conscious I am as a photographer, I know that the new equipment is much better, but I still have this little monster in stock in case the a7iii breaks down. Just put on the lamp and I can organize the whole party or even outdoor sessions. Greetings from Poland, my master of photography

Why are you uploading a video made (according to your Nikon screen) in 2012. Don't you have any more current videos to upload?

I have more content than I know what to do with lol. This was some found footage as I’m archiving my drives. And some people like to see some older stuff now and then.

Something else that can contribute to a shaky tripod stand is a running vehicle engine. Even if the tripod stand is set up a few feet away from the vehicle. This is especially noticeable during astro-photography and other types of low light photography.

Either that’s an old video, or someone else’s camera you’re using this film or you just switch back to an old Nikon😂
