I guess is in recognition of Tito Puente music style from the late 50s. Nice to know young people today can enjoy and recreate all kinds of good music so well.. Congratulations!
Okay... I know surely you have heard of Joan Chamorro. I call him the "Israel Cachao of Spain" he always wears the most infectious smile you have ever seen. His genre of music is mostly Bossa Nova, smooth jazz, American Jazz, and big band. Like yourself he works with young kids, sometimes very young and they are amazingly talented. The band can be anything from a combo to a near full-blown orchestra. Once in a while he'll call in one of the old-time big guns to play with them but it is always great. Oh... And if you think I really like Joan you ought to hear what I tell other people about you.
David Cantwell Professore Chamorro is wonderfully creative and has built of great brand...had the pleasure of speaking with him last year in Barcelona.
Dear Marc. Part of my channel is also this amazing youth big band. I also adore jazz. So these are our top notch and very best musicians. They all study classical istruments, but they transform every year in one of the best jazz group in the world.
There's no fair way to compare the two. They're just different. Tremendous skill is required in both cases, and great beauty is created in both cases. You prefer the classical, and I appreciate both equally, depending on my mood. Lousy music is a thing, but everything zevnikov has posted has been absolutely top notch.
Too bad Ella Fitzgerald is not around anymore, she would have fit right in with some of her scat. For that matter so would Mel Torme… Oh I enjoyed the piece very much, right on...

Thank you for your compliment. Music connects us in mysterious ways.
Bravissimi 👍
But why I can't hear the trumpet in this trumpet feature..?
You should revise and recreate the great and enthusiastic ChicoO'Farrill music and arrangements. You are so good!
I must say, good, different type of music from yours. However, your orchestra is and will always be superior.

The videos you posted are good but please don't ruin them with those cheap adjectives like "amazing" and "stunning".
