Was looking forward to watching the video that you posted today on what parts are hot in the market 2020. Did you delete it? Lol. I’m getting into doing this full time and that video would have helped immensely. Please repost...
I did not post any videos today, are you thinking of someone else? Here is my video of the best part to sell that I posted a while back ua-cam.com/video/GRX44WAVNKc/v-deo.html
@@streetriderscustoms Hey Jay, thanks for taking the time to make these vids and answer questions. It turns out I have a question after watching your other videos. I live in Boston MA not far from N. Reading (I grew up 3 towns over actually), if I pallet and crate a motor to ship as you have shown and bring it to YRC Freight can they take the pallet off the bed of a truck? I don't have a trailer. Thanks!
They have fork trucks there so they will be able to take it out of the bed for you as long as it's accessible. When you pay for it online make sure you print out 2 bill of ladings, one to put on the crate and the other to hand into the office. Good luck, I've said in some videos you never know what you'll get going there. Some times it's 10 minutes and other times it's an hour
I would leave it on, that way nothing will drip. I would just make sure you mark it somewhere with a no oil sign so no one starts it up without refilling
Either UPS or FED EX will be crazy expensive. Finding a carrier that does LTL is the way to go. I put together this video to show you who I use and why: ua-cam.com/video/VdHwa6ZsAbQ/v-deo.html
@@streetriderscustoms After a buyer buys your item, but has not paid yet, how do you get the “freight” shipping cost? Since it was not a flat rate, now that it’s been calculated, do you invoice somehow through eBay?
Jay, can you talk about numbers please? How much is your rent, how much you pay per car, how much can be made after parts sell out and how long it takes to sell parts. Thanks man.
Have you gone through my videos? I've talked about how much money I have made from specific cars I have parted out. My main thing is I do this on the side at home and in trying to show everyone that they can do it too. My rent is 0 because I do it from my house.
Honestly I just guessed. I figured at some point if you are in the ballpark it's not going to make a difference. To the trucking company it's more so about the size than the weight
What place did you go to ship it ? I shipping one engine by ups and I’m stuck, I did the shippping label but I don’t find a place to bring it to shipping
We discussed it before hand and made a deal. It was not a huge expense for him. I do a lot of things cheaper when I am helping people out. You want me to make a deal with you?
Wow so cool
You’re a great guy with tools
I can’t change a lightbulb, let alone ship an entire engine. Cool
I appreciate it!
It’s literally like your hearing my thoughts and making videos on them! I needed this!
Glad to hear that I am giving you what you need! I am sure you checked out my transmission shipping video too? Freight shipping is not that scary.
Informative and clear video. Thank you. Answered a lot of my questions.
Thanks for watching! Glad it could help you out
Oh Iwas surprised alright!.. got a quote to ship a regular trunk lid from Alabama to NH the other day. 80 lbs and the quotes were $700- $1000...
Depending on the company they will charge you a lot of money!

I'm in mass too. Can you show how you calculate shipping costs and what companies you can use.
I take it you looked on my video of using YRC?
Great video, very helpful thanks 👍🏻
Hope it helps! Thanks for watching

@@streetriderscustoms Awesome, thanks so much!
Hey man! Could I reach out to you and ask a few questions? Love the videos!
Feel free to message me privately and I will try to answer any questions you have
Im selling my engine soon should i leave the old filter on or off after draining the oil

Which shipping service did you used for Freight Shipping? UPS, FED-EX or does Ebay have a special section for you to use for Freight Shipping?

I'm from Cambodia
how did you weigh it

What company do you use
I called ups and they wanted to charge me 600 dollars to ship a Malibu door
I use YRC Freight. I think I'll be doing another video soon talking about general freight shipping since I have been asked a few times who I use
How much did the customer have to pay you to do that i need a motor shipped from CT to GA lol
