Hi Clavin, great work, this tutorial was very helpful, one suggestion, the uploading and merging of files could have been a part 2 to this tutorial, versus having those steps introduced prior to "how to convert MS Forms to PDF attachment", which is why most folks clicked your video in the first place.
HI Clavin great work. may i please ask a solution for another scenario. I have a few questions that allow users to attach photos, with each question permitting them to upload up to 3 photos. If needed, I'm open to changing this to just a single photo per question if the solution becomes too complex. What I'd like to achieve is to have all these photos presented in a tabular format, rather than on separate pages. Is it possible to achieve this?" Thanks
Hi Clavin, this is so useful. Thank you for making the video. Can I ask if you are posting the PDF file to share point or Microsoft list? How to show the PDF on Microsoft list? Thanks.
Is there a way to do this (merge documents) without using the Muhimbi function?(ie. a free mode work around)... My organisation is to risk averse to authorise the use of the third party addons
Hello how are you? congratulations for the video, very good material, I managed to apply it, even without using the power automate. Can you ask a question? 1) 1) Where do I change the power automate, if I have more than one question and this question also has an attachment? 2) In addition, the form has conditions where depending on the answer the attachment field changes.
Hello Thiago, I am glad that you liked the video. >>1) 1) Where do I change the power automate, if I have more than one question and this question also has an attachment? I assume you have more than one Attachments Question in Forms? Is my understanding correct, if yes, you will need to append the attachments from another question to the array. >>2) In addition, the form has conditions where depending on the answer the attachment field changes. You will need to manage the conditions in your Power Automate. If you are using Muhimbi Connector please send an email to support@muhimbi.com.
Hi the first merge document action that contains the array , throws this error " {"result_code":"ProcessingError","result_details":"Please provide values for 'Minimum two files to merge' and try again.","base_file_name":null,"processed_file_content":null} " any idea why ?
@@clavinfernandes8566 Hello, sorry for a question 2 years later, but can you please specify how to add logic in scope? I'm not really sure what you mean by this. Sorry and thank you for the tutorial!
Hi, I loved this tutorial. It is really amazing. Congrats. Is there a way to embed the form responses into an existing word document that would be filled automatically and created to a specific folder? And after it has been created send it back to the person who filled the form as an attachment? Thanks.
Thank you for the positive comments. You can for sure Convert Form Response or populate an existing template - I have a tutorial for Muhimbi(subscription required) to Convert Microsoft Forms to PDF - see ua-cam.com/video/PYw_6bOWWMc/v-deo.html You can also populate a template -google search returns me tahoeninjas.blog/2020/03/13/generate-word-documents-from-a-template-using-power-automate/ The Form response also returns you the "Responder email" - You use the email in the "Send to email" action and add it as an attachment.
Hello Clavin. Your video helped me a lot. Thank you for that! However when the uploaded file is merged with the answers from the form, it still can also be found in the onedrive folder apps/Microsoft Forms/..... Is there a tutorial how to delete that file automatically once it is merged and stored in Sharepoint? Best wishes from the Netherlands, Rein
Hey Rein. You can use the Delete file action in Onedrive for Bussiness. Have a look at - powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Delete-File-in-Onedrive-for-Business/td-p/99657
This is the best video out there. 1. I did have an issue with it. It works perfectly when I upload multiple photos, but if I only uploaded 1 photo, the flow fails. How do I fix this? 2. I have multiple questions that require multiple file uploads. For instance, question #1 requires up to 4 images and question #2 also requires up to 4 images. How do I upload all of them images to the pdf? 3. Once, that is fixed, how do I keep the pictures attached to the question so we know which questions those images are associated with? For instance, question #3 asks Send picture of ABC and the picture follows below in the pdf. Can this be done? Any guidance is appreciated!
Hey Valeri, Just open a ticket with support@muhimbi.com. If you have multiple questions(with attachments) then you add the actions in the scope and reconfigure the actions with reference to the questions(attachments).

This works great! How would you edit this automation to support multiple questions that have attachments n the same form?
Wow that was hard to digest, but a perfectly well delivery of undiluted knowledge, and i thank you for that 👌
You answered my question in the tutorial Thank you. GOOD TUTORIAL 👍
Hi Calvin, great video. Can you only convert the Form to PDF and then save on onedrive using PowerAutomate? Thank you

HI, can you extend this to include sending the merged document to users via email? Thanks

Hello Calvin, what should I do if I have a MS form with multiple questions asking for an upload? Thank you!
Howdy Jack, If you have multiple questions you can simply add the logic in scope and then configure it with other questions.

Hello, how I do if my Microsoft Forms folder is on Sharepoint and not on One Drive ?
Hey Mate, I assume you are using the "Forms in Excel" SharePoint option. If yes, you can query the Excel file and get the details.

Hello, I was wondering if you were able to solve this issue yet? Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same problem 😅😅
