im disappointed in this one, it went from "lets look at whether or not transition is appropriate treatment" to "actually its just a fetish, internalized homophobia, male brained, ray blanchard", which is legitimately a tier of discussion i'd find on /lgbt/. You did a disservice to yourself by bogging down what was originally a critical analysis with what was obviously a preconceived narrative you wanted to push.
The data indicates this, so it's still a critical analysis. Is transition an appropriate treatment for mental distress caused by a fetish? Does entertaining a harmful delusion, rather than trying to fix the underlying causes of it, actually lead to positive outcomes? Maybe it's you who is simply following ideology...
