When i worked at a Motorsport garage, we installed a removable metal pole behind the garage door to prevent people from trying to ram a car into it. It worked too cuz there was an attempt and it prevented the thieves from breaking in.

Seems like this was a blessing...dont need to worry about not having customers when the insurance company just bought you out! Shaaaaady! Super common for jewelry stores to do these insurance scams. My friend is a PI and has caught dozens. Not accusing them...but this wasn't a loss it was a gain. Those off White Jackets and Clothing weren't going to sell for years if at all.

Relieved no one was hurt, insane that someone was so bold to rob yall. I've been robbed before, day after Christmas back in the early 2000s. Lost more than 50k (family jewels) in our safe amongst other things. Wish we were never robbed, hate that people have to resort to this to get money. Work hard for your things, don't play stupid games or else you'll win stupid prizes.

I know you said you wish you had blocked the windows so they can’t see inside but I recommend not to block windows with curtains, that gives them access to be inside and any witnesses outside can’t see who’s inside. Just my thought but I’m glad you both were able to recover from this and able to come out and succeed today with your community supporting both of you. Hope I can see the shop sometime.
As a car guy in a huge known custom car club we all can unequivocally say it’s a 1990-1994 Subaru Legacy wagon! They did $3500-$4000 in damage to it trying to break in,It’s likely silver in color but could be white. You can clearly see i’m a car guy on our chan! I hope you can find these a holes! If you guys haven't already zip tie the clothing together through the hangers and then zip tie the chain of clothes to the rack, that way no one can grab a rack of clothes and dip out quick. I work at a consignment store and that's how we do our clothing, if someone needs something or wants to try it on we just grab the scissors and take it down for them. It sucks that this even needs to be a concern, but I'm glad you guys are making the best of your situation and still going strong. Keep up the great content!

I think it’s time for security tags and when you hang the clothes up on the racks, have the hanger hooks opposite each other. So they can’t grab so many at once. Also l would invest in colour cameras with better quality image.

My family has a small diner that has been hurting badly since covid obviously but we got broken into twice and had our windows broken a total of 5 times including the times of the robberies. I know the crappy feeling you get with it and the struggle to try and keep up financially after that. Each time a window was broken it wasn’t worth going through insurance because the deductible was high but the window was $1000 each time.
Your mistake was not having security gates from the beginning dealing with this much value in product. Flat out. Love the videos but i can scope out your entire shop in 1 video so it could have been anyone. & If its not a 2 story, You should check the roof directly above the shop to see how strong the roofing is next. Sometimes all it takes is a hammer. 🔨
Totally think the other dude was in on it as a distraction. I understand not wanting anybody to steal your stuff but these folks crazy nowadays and ain’t nothing in there worth being stabbed or shot n killed over for real for real.
