What I enjoy is that you explain how to and do not rush into going into another step before we get a chance to understand how you are doing this
Good way of showing
U are a good teacher !
Wally, December 10th. 2021
Wow! that was fantastic. I am almost 85 years old and decided to see if I could do a little painting. After looking at your painting of the clouds and sky I really think I can. I have most of my supplies and very shortly I am going to give this a try. Your teaching is fabulous. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your support, Wally! 🙏 So lovely to hear that you’re trying something new at your age! I actually have many fans who have started in their sixties and seventies and have blown me away with how quickly they learned; it’s inspiring to me to see how we can always learn something new 😊
Finally someone goes from the lightest to the shadows 👌👍👏🏼
Thank you Felix. I've only been painting for a couple of weeks and found your tutorials very valuable. Your techniques make me look like a talented artist.
I have a fascination for clouds and am constantly taking photos of them. After watching your presentation I am inspired to PAINT them, Thank you.
I love love clouds. I too painted from my imagination, it didn’t blended well but it still looks good.I just painted it yesterday n posted.I want to paint clouds like you. U r master of it.
Thank you so much. God bless you.❤
Hello there, it will get better with practice and time. Just keep going! 🙏😊
I am so glad you mentioned reference photos. I have been painting for years and I use a photo reference as well as watching other painters on UA-cam. Great inspiration! Love your cloud technique!
This is mesmerizing. I often feel like beautiful cloudy skies and sunsets are little love notes from God. This felt like watching a bit of His creation process. Love it. Thank you for sharing your gift!
I suck at painting clouds but I’m gonna try to do it this way. Your very easy to follow
73 yr old retired sailor here. Beautiful work. Great easy examples to my surprise. Bob Ross would be proud of you for your sharing of talent like yours. I subscribed Dec 30, 2020. Thanks
I am a beginner and this is absolutely amazing. You put so much detail and time into your art. I feel like I am looking at a photo. Beautiful
I TRULY ENJOY your videos. Thank you for helping us all out here!
Absolutely gorgeous! I just started painting in October of 2018, and have had two gallery shows to date. Coastal scenes are my focus. I struggle with painting clouds, but thanks to you (bowing down) I have created some beautiful AF clouds to go along with seascapes. You are awesome! Thanks for showing your technique.
Really great cloud instructional. I've watched so many tutorials on how to paint clouds, always left with a thousand questions, but you've explained every single step, every meaningful gesture to enable us newbies to learn. Thank you!!
yes, exactly! 💛
Your paintings are so beautiful!!
I’m a beginner and struggle with clouds. I have watched several cloud tutorials and yours is the best. Thank you!
Clouds are much easier to paint with oil paint. Acrylic dries faster, especially when you don't mix it with a slow drying medium. In order for clouds to look more natural you must soften the edges. I recommend a fan brush for oil paint.
Thank you for actually explaining more detailes for us beginners. I keep finding awesome paintings but not enough info of actually how, so thank you.
An excellent intro for an oldie with heaps of interest but short on experience. Thanks so much.
Thank you for posting this Feliks!! This helped me so much. I have just started painting and I'm watching all of your videos to learn how to be a good painter🙂
Thank you for your generousness by sharing your time and talent!!! !
That was great thank you, I'm getting my paint out now.
I really like your style painting with acrylics. Been painting for years and how found a much easier why to do those beautiful clouds! Great job!
I can't wait to try this technique! I have the most difficult time with clouds. Thank you.
@ColorbyFelix I just started painting because you are my inspiration 😊... Lots of love from Kenya......
I’m going to try to pain this cloud painting as I follow along with the video and hope this turns out nice. Painting I find is so relaxing for me.
How did it turn out?
@@RCP3Kids mines turned out very nice I think. I’m not even a painter I watched this and decided to go get paint and try and now I love painting . Wish we could post photos in here .
Thank you soooo much for the detailed verbal instruction along with your demonstration! Both are very important in the learning process for those of us less experienced.
Have been trying to paint clouds, love looking at the sky, and decided to go with sky, sea scapes, waves etc. Love your instructional detail of painting clouds, didn't realize there was so much going into creating the wonderful illusion.
i totally agree! ❤️
I so enjoyed your video as you created beautiful cloud formations!
Thank you so much for your expertise! I'm subscribing!
You're the best since Bob Ross. You're not one of those selfish ones here that don't really want people to learn their techniques.
I agree! Stephen Conway on 'easy oil painting' is also worth watching. Great artist and very generous with his tutorials.
Bob Ross was a knock off
Kevin very good artist :)
He good but he is not Bob Ross .

Clouds are my Nemesis!! Thank you so much!!! Cant wait to make beautiful clouds like you. Bless you! :)
Like your calm presentation style, the extended silences and of course the outcome. Wonderful!
The best tutorial for making clouds, thanks a lot, God bless you
You are a true teacher... Thanks showing full video and techniques of paintings....thanks
Love the way you do the clouds. Thank you, I can’t wait to try it🤗👏
I’m working on a cloud. It’s for a New Mexico sky. When the sky is clear a fluffy white cloud can come floating by. They are quite subtle in color with the faintest hint of a bluish, purplish, gray. My first attempt looked like a blob from that 1960s B sci-fi movie. Lol. That’s when I knew I had to consult UA-cam. This video caught my eye. I’ve watched it over several days to ensure I understood the concept. Wow, what a difference. It is not as nice as yours, but, I’m quite proud of myself. I think I will get some 4x5 canvas boards to practice on. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Great lesson, thank you for your generous tips , I learned a lot .
Absolutely gorgeous! Just started to learn painting in this corona lockdown and your instructions are simple and clear. You voice is relaxing thus maximising attention . You really are committed to sharing you knowledge. Am off to do my cloud painting..Thanks Felix!
Wow thank You :) this is the best tutorial I have seen so far on clouds. I take photos of the beautiful clouds around me in the country and with this lesson I know I can achieve that look I have always wanted to paint. Following you for sure.

Pretty clouds!! Thank you Feliks!! Hope you have a great weekend my friend!!
colorbyfeliks you're welcome Feliks! 😊
Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. I should have watched this before I started my clouds. No worries though. The thing I like about acrylics is that they dry fast and I can paint over it.
Excellently presented. I've watched many, and people ramble too much, you only presented what was needed with great detail. I'm a subscriber😋
Thank you
Nice clouds ⛅️ I still trying to find the best way.
A good artist and good teacher leads to wonderful compositions understandably arrived at.
I watched this video all the way through then made my attempt. Holy smokes what an improvement in my clouds! It was like a 5 year leap forward for me. Thanks so much!

I really learned a lot watching this ... am a relatively new artist too in retirement as a hobby. I love cloud brushes, have not been able to find an artist who uses them w/ acrylic until I found your tutorial. Am going to do this on a practice canvas first, then on a good painting that is currently a WIP. Nice work!
Love your videos and art work. I love your realistic and vivid colors that you do in all your paintings. Just think you are a great painter. I have tried some acrylics a few but always fighting the drying of them. I started in oils and now doing all other mediums also. Your work is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing you way with us.
Wonderful as always!
I like the way you teach. I do not have the talent, but I am painting anyway because I like it. No one has to see it but me anyway. You do make it much easier to follow and I think my paintings turn out much better following your instruction. Thank you.
I was looking for a good technique to try out.. I have rain clouds Im trying... so I like the dark look you had on this painting... great job... and TY!!

Great tutorial! So very helpful to me! Thank you so much! 👍❤️
MANY THANKS for sharing your incredible talent. The tutorial was great and your instructions are easy to follow. You are an inspiring artist and teacher!
Excellent Tutorial. Learned how to paint realistic Clouds. Thanks
Excellent work. Your teaching style great, you could almost be called the Bob Ross of acrylic paint, you speak calmly at a pace that makes it easy to follow and understand, where as some teachers talk to fast and fail to communicate properly what or how they are doing.👍👍👍👍
What a great demonstration of cloud formation.
I love watching your videos😍 you are so good at teaching. Thanks 🙏
I really really beginner and I still confused to fix colors. This video so clearly how to fix the colors. Thank you so much for sharing 🙇

Anyhow by your tutorials, I am able to benefit from watching it being done from start to finish. Thank you.
