Have been trying to paint clouds, love looking at the sky, and decided to go with sky, sea scapes, waves etc. Love your instructional detail of painting clouds, didn't realize there was so much going into creating the wonderful illusion.

Absolutely gorgeous! I just started painting in October of 2018, and have had two gallery shows to date. Coastal scenes are my focus. I struggle with painting clouds, but thanks to you (bowing down) I have created some beautiful AF clouds to go along with seascapes. You are awesome! Thanks for showing your technique.

Anyhow by your tutorials, I am able to benefit from watching it being done from start to finish. Thank you.
Clouds are much easier to paint with oil paint. Acrylic dries faster, especially when you don't mix it with a slow drying medium. In order for clouds to look more natural you must soften the edges. I recommend a fan brush for oil paint.

Excellent work. Your teaching style great, you could almost be called the Bob Ross of acrylic paint, you speak calmly at a pace that makes it easy to follow and understand, where as some teachers talk to fast and fail to communicate properly what or how they are doing.👍👍👍👍
Nicely done, especially for only three colors. But a suggestion @29:30, going down that edge, you have a great opportunity for a 'back lit' effect by the sun (implied) just by keeping that edge sharp and adding a touch of yellow to the T.white for a warm glow. Same with the cloud to the right. And you could add a bit of low-lite to the gray's edge against the bright white by adding a touch of magenta to the gray. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

I’m out of work because of disability. I’ve always been interested in arts but when I sit down to try I feel that my attempts are pathetic. I have tried with other tutorials and the “teachers” fly thru the painting and no way to keep up. It’s stop - rewind, stop - rewind, stop - rewind. Becomes so frustrating. But your speed is almost perfect for a brand new artist(Lol) like me. So glad I found you. I love clouds of all colors, storm clouds, one little cloud ☁️ in the midst of an otherwise blue sky. I have taken hundreds of photos of clouds. With your teaching I look forward to what I create. Will be following! Thanks from an infant attempting to express my self thru art. Physically very limited but I can use my head, my hands, and my heART ❤️ as I find painting is not an impossibility but a joy of self-expression. I could share more, however, I going to go paint!!!!!’

I really learned a lot watching this ... am a relatively new artist too in retirement as a hobby. I love cloud brushes, have not been able to find an artist who uses them w/ acrylic until I found your tutorial. Am going to do this on a practice canvas first, then on a good painting that is currently a WIP. Nice work!
Love your videos and art work. I love your realistic and vivid colors that you do in all your paintings. Just think you are a great painter. I have tried some acrylics a few but always fighting the drying of them. I started in oils and now doing all other mediums also. Your work is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing you way with us.
