Morning Brian and country gal. Our yield is down from the drought and army worms. That was some great looking hay. We're all praying next year turns out better. See yall next time
Reminds me of my parents' and my younger days on our farm, after dad switched to using a round baler. Bought an old 1970s-something IH semi tractor, and a 40ft flatbed. Added 2ft wide oak planks (that were hinged) on each side of the trailer. Loaded bales from our alfalfa field. Hauled them several miles, to home. Then unloaded them and stacked them in our big metal hay sheds.
What’s your thoughts on the Tifton grass that Louie from South Texas Cattle and Hay brags about? I ask because it was founded in Tifton, GA which is not far from where I am.
Luis, from South Texas grows Hybrid Tifton 85 which is a Bermuda, Stargrass cross has bigger stems that The other Tifton crosses..... One of the major drawbacks is the cost of "Sprigging"to establish a stand...... We bought our own digging and sprigging equipment..................

Thanks for taking us along with y’all. Just so you know, most of us would watch you doing repairs on the equipment also.
Loved the different camera angles Brian, it makes the video more entertaining to me. Hope you both have a blessed day my friend.

Sweet operation what are the specs on the international ?
97 eagle with Detroit and 10 speed Eaton. Almost a million miles and runs better and is as tight as a new one.
Dang, I was thinking 74k on one load.. not two. Be just a little overweight at 1500# bales, lol
